This study explores the impact of inclusive leadership on employees' pro-social rule breaking through the dual path of psychological safety and leadership identification, as well as the moderating role of leader-member exchange in the above paths. We used questionnaires to survey 303 employees at two time points. The results show that inclusive leadership has a significant positive impact on employees' pro-social rule breaking, that psychological safety and leadership identification play mediating roles in this relationship, and that there is no significant difference between the mediating effects. Leader-member exchange moderates the indirect effect of inclusive leadership on pro-social rule breaking through psychological safety. That is, under a high level of leader-member exchange, inclusive leadership has a strong impact on psychological safety and pro-social rule breaking, but the moderating effect of inclusive leadership on employees' pro-social rule breaking through leadership identification is not significant. This study provides guidance for improving the vitality of employees and promoting the development of enterprise rules. The U.S. suicide rate continues to increase, despite federal investment in developing preventive behavioral health care interventions. Important determinants of suicide-social, economic, and circumstantial-have little or no connection to psychopathology. Firearm injuries account for over half of suicides, and firearm access is perhaps the most important modifiable determinant. Thus gun safety policy deserves special attention as a pathway to suicide prevention. This article summarizes arguments for several recommended statutory modifications to firearm restrictions at the state level. The policy challenge is to develop and implement evidence-based strategies to keep guns out of the hands of people at highest risk of suicide, without unduly infringing the rights of a large number of gun owners who are unlikely to harm anyone. Recommendations for states include expansion and refinement of legal criteria prohibiting firearm purchase, possession, or access to better align with suicide risk, including prohibition for persons with brief involuntary psychiatric holds or repeated alcohol-impaired driving convictions; enactment of extreme risk protection order laws, which allow temporary removal of firearms from persons who are behaving dangerously, and entering purchase prohibition data for these persons in the FBI's background-check database; and adoption of an innovative policy known as precommitment against suicide as well as voluntary self-enrollment in the FBI's background-check database.
Research has suggested that some mental health professionals (MHPs) continue to hold stigmatized beliefs about persons with emotional distress. These beliefs may be amenable to contact-based interventions with similar peers. To inform future interventions, policy, and research, this scoping review examined existing literature to identify factors that affect disclosure of lived experience by MHPs to colleagues and supervisors.

A systematic search was conducted of four online databases, gray literature, and the reference lists of included articles. Primary research studies of any design conducted with MHPs with lived experience of emotional distress and their colleagues were included. The findings of included studies were inductively coded within the themes of enabling, constraining, and intrapersonal factors influencing disclosure.

A total of 23 studies were included in data extraction and synthesis. Factors that influenced MHPs' sharing of their lived experience in the workplace were categorized into fice users' experience.
The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic has been recognized as causing a wide variety of behavioral health problems. Society must mitigate this impact by recognizing that COVID-19 can trigger people's fears of exacerbating an existing mental illness. A survey about COVID-19 for people with mental illness was developed.

Two hundred fourteen people responded to the survey, of whom 193 self-identified as living with a mental illness.

Almost all participants living with a mental illness (98%) said they had at least one major concern regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, and 62% said they had at least three major concerns.

People living with a mental illness are very concerned about disruption of services, running out of medication, and social isolation during this pandemic. Providers and mental health services could address these fears by connecting with people living with mental illness through text messaging and social media.

In total, 136 second-opinion reviews from 2013 and 169 from 2018 were included in this study. Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), behavioral difficulties, anxiety, and trauma were prevalent among these children, and participants were commonly prescribed ADHD medications, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, and second-generation antipsychotics. The incidence of reviews remained stable over the two periods, but psychosocial treatment increased significantly over this time. read more This study sheds light on the initiation, maintenance, and identification of polypharmacy psychotropic regimens and highlights psychosocial treatment as an intervention that increases best practice care for at-risk patients.
Cytokine therapies show promise in treating renal cell carcinoma (RCC). Transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-β1) is a cytokine whose downstream Smad2/3 signaling activity is inhibited by the protein phosphatase Mg
/Mn
-dependent 1 A (PPM1A). Here, we hypothesized that PPM1A may be involved in suppressing RCC cell aggressiveness through its negative regulation of Smad2/3.

We quantified PPM1A expression from RCC tumors and matching healthy tissue and performed a Kaplan-Meier survival analysis.
analysis on PPM1A was performed using Cancer Genome Atlas-Kidney Renal Clear Cell Carcinoma and Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium RCC cohort data. We tested four RCC cell lines and selected the ACNH and A498 cells lines as expressing the greatest PPM1A levels. We assayed the effects of RNAi-mediated PPM1A silencing on invasiveness, proliferation, colony formation, and Smad2/3 phosphorylation in untreated and TGF-β1-stimulated ACNH and A498 cells. A nude mouse A498 xenograft tumor model was constructed to validate PPM1A's effects
