Of these, two are specific scales for assessing the risk of suicide in the elderly in the community 5-item GDS subscale and Geriatric Suicide Ideation Scale.
With the scarcity of national instruments to assess such risk, research is recommended to cross-culturally adapt one of these scales to the Brazilian Portuguese language.

Propose the concept of vulnerability of the elderly based on the Hybrid Concept Development Model.
Methodological study with a qualitative approach, based on the theoretical-methodological framework of the Hybrid Concept Development Model. Initially, an integrative literature review was carried out, followed by empirical collection through semi-structured interviews with 12 professionals. As a method of analysis of the interviews, the Grounded Theory was used. The final analytical phase constituted the interface between theoretical and empirical evidence.
When carrying out the theoretical survey, it became possible to outline the attributes, antecedents and consequences of the studied phenomenon. After analyzing the empirical data, two phenomena emerged Unveiling the multiple changes arising from the human aging process; and Understanding the multiple dimensions of the elderly person's vulnerability construct.
The vulnerability of the elderly person consists of a multifaceted construct, in which individual and collective conditions interact with each other.
The vulnerability of the elderly person consists of a multifaceted construct, in which individual and collective conditions interact with each other.[This corrects the article doi 10.1590/S0104-59702020000200008].The objective of this article is to disseminate the astronomical photographs taken by the Brazilian expedition sent to Sobral (state of Ceará) to record the total eclipse of the Sun on May 29, 1919. There is a rich collection of photographs, most unpublished, available on glass plates stored in the Library of the Observatório Nacional. Photography was central to astronomy in the twentieth century. Thus, while the eclipse in Sobral had worldwide repercussions due to the proof of the theory of general relativity by the English expeditions, in this article we highlight the participation of astronomers from the Observatório Nacional at the same event, since they were the first Brazilians to successfully obtain photographs of the Sun's corona. This article seeks to highlight the postcard as a medium on which an image and the action of someone commenting on the image come together. Four postcards that have been used as sources in historical research are discussed. Absorbed by the practice of photography, the study first focuses on the artist. Then it focus on the role of the model. Finally, it presents the incorporation of the sender and his message. When doing so, it recognizes the surface of this medium as a space for transparency in terms of the social relationships prevailing in Brazil in the early twentieth century. The article also suggests that Manuel Querino was the first intellectual to use a postcard as a bibliographic source. On November 5th, 1808, D. João de Bragança issued a license about the practice of druggists and the price of drugs and ordered the creation of a regulation to tax the cost of medicines marketed in Brazil. First published on 1809, the Regimento dos preços dos medicamentos... gained new editions in the following years and became an indispensable working tool for those involved in the making and trading of drugs at this time. This paper situates historically and sheds light on a document briefly explored by the researchers of the history of the Brazilian pharmacy, taking into account that it was one of the first initiatives of the Luso-Brazilian government in line with the pharmaceutical activity in Brazil in the nineteenth century. We describe how the IBGE (Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística) was the cradle of the qualitative method in Brazil, through its National Study of Family Spending. This study analyzed the living conditions of the people of Brazil, sampling 55,311 individuals in the 1970s and merging quantitative and qualitative data. The effects of social inequality on malnutrition, infant mortality and life expectancy stood out 62.7% of families had caloric deficit; 40% suffered from shortage of food; there were 115 deaths per 1,000 live births and the life expectancy was 59 years. The IBGE coined the term "unstructured information" for the data, and the qualitative study shone light on and humanized the data collected. However, the military dictatorship prohibited its publication during the time of the so-called "Brazilian miracle."
