At baseline, MGCs of carriers demonstrated significantly higher mRNA expression levels of AMH (3.5 ± 2.2, n = 12 and 0.97 ± 0.5, n = 17, respectively; p = 0.0003) and FSH receptor (5.6 ± 2.8 and 2.7 ± 2.8, respectively; p = 0.02) and higher AMH protein expression on immunostaining. Accordingly, FMR1 premutation-transfected COV434 cells exhibited higher AMH protein expression than COV434 cells transfected with 20 CGG repeats. We conclude that FMR1 premutation may lead to dysregulation of AMH expression levels, probably due to a compensatory mechanism. Elucidating the pathophysiology of FXPOI may help in early detection of ovarian dysfunction and tailoring IVF treatments to FMR1 premutation carriers.In order to explore the role of exosomal circRNAs in the occurrence and development of sepsis, we looked for potential diagnostic markers to accurately identify sepsis and to lay a molecular basis for precise treatment. Ultracentrifugation was used to extract exosomes from the serum of patients with sepsis and healthy individuals. Then, changes in circRNA expression in exosomes were studied by circRNA microarray analysis. Gene ontology (GO) analysis and Kyoto City Encyclopaedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway analysis were used to annotate the biological functions and pathways of genes, and a circRNA-miRNA-mRNA regulatory network was constructed. In the microarray analysis, 132 circRNAs were significantly differentially expressed, including 80 and 52 that were upregulated and downregulated, respectively. RT-qPCR verified the results of microarray analysis hsa_circRNA_104484 and hsa_circRNA_104670 were upregulated in sepsis serum exosomes. ROC analysis showed that hsa_circRNA_104484 and hsa_circRNA_104670 in serum exosomes have the potential to be used as diagnostic markers for sepsis. The circRNA-miRNA-mRNA network predicted the potential regulatory pathways of differentially expressed circRNAs. There are differences in the expression of circRNA in serum exosomes between patients with sepsis and healthy individuals, which may be involved in the occurrence and development of the disease. Among them, elevations in hsa_circRNA_104484 and hsa_circRNA_104670 could be used as novel diagnostic biomarkers and molecular therapeutic targets.The discovery of Photonic spin Hall effect (PSHE) on surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) is an important progress in photonics. In this paper, a method of realizing multi-channel PSHE in two-dimensional metal-air-metal waveguide is proposed. By modulating the phase difference [Formula see text] and polar angle [Formula see text] of the dipole source, the SPP can propagate along a specific channel. We further prove that PSHE results from the component wave interference theory. We believe that our findings will rich the application of SPPs in optical devices.The Gemer region (Slovakia) belongs to areas with a high concentration of risk elements. The contents of Cu, Ni, Pb, Cd, Hg and Mn were determined in soils and cultivated agricultural production from lands in three cadastres of the Gemer region (Henckovce (48.713845, 20.426189) and Nižná Slaná (48.717373, 20.4208423), cultivated crop-spring triticale; Gemerská Poloma (48.704523, 20.487645), cultivated crop-maize). Bioavailable forms of Pb (0.306-0.532 mg/kg) and Cd (0.104-0.154 mg/kg), pseudototal forms of Cd (3.07-3.98 mg/kg) and Hg (0.484-2.18 mg/kg) represented the highest risk in soils. The highest contents of Pb (Cd, Hg) were in maize from Gemerská Poloma 0.898 (0.081, 0.399) mg/kg DM. Soils were classified based on several indicators of soil contamination. The highest values of indicators are Contamination factor (Cf 29.1-Hg), Degree of contamination (Cdeg 51.5), Potential ecological risk factor (Er 1163-Hg), Potential ecological risk index (RI 1,520), Pollution load index (PLI 4.76), Geo-accumulation index (Igeo 5.60-Hg). All indicators concerned the lands of Henckovce and Gemerská Poloma, RI also concerned the land of Nižná Slaná. Bioaccumulation factor (BAF) was calculated to assess the plant's ability to absorb the risk element. For both crops and all risk elements, BAF values were less then 1. Obtained results indicate heavy metal contamination of soils, therefore monitoring of soils in investigated area is necessary.The egg parasitoid Telenomus remus (Hymenoptera Scelionidae) has been investigated for classical and applied biological control of noctuid pests, especially Spodoptera (Lepidoptera Noctuidae) species. selleck Although T. remus was introduced into Brazil over three decades ago for classical biological control of S. frugiperda, this wasp has not been recorded as established in corn or soybean crops. We used an integrative approach to identify T. remus, combining a taxonomic key based on the male genitalia with DNA barcoding, using a cytochrome c oxidase subunit I mitochondrial gene fragment. This is the first report of natural parasitism of T. remus on S. frugiperda and S. cosmioides eggs at two locations in Brazil. We also confirmed that the T. remus lineage in Brazil derives from a strain in Venezuela (originally from Papua New Guinea and introduced into the Americas, Africa, and Asia). The occurrence of T. remus parasitizing S. frugiperda and S. cosmioides eggs in field conditions, not associated with inundative releases, suggests that the species has managed to establish itself in the field in Brazil.
