Chronic myelomonocytic leukemia (CMML) is defined by myelodysplasia, pathologic accumulation of monocytes and a substantial risk to transform to secondary acute myeloid leukemia (sAML). In recent years, minimal diagnostic criteria for classical CMML and CMML-variants were proposed. Moreover, potential pre-stages of CMML and interface conditions have been postulated. Oligomonocytic CMML is a condition where the absolute peripheral blood monocyte count does not reach a diagnostic level but all other criteria for CMML are fulfilled. Among potential pre-stages of CMML, clonal and non-clonal conditions have been described, including idiopathic monocytosis (IMUS) and clonal monocytosis of unknown significance (CMUS). Patients with myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS), clonal cytopenia of unknown significance (CCUS), clonal hematopoiesis of indeterminate potential (CHIP) and idiopathic cytopenia of undetermined significance (ICUS) may also progress to CMML. The current article provides an overview of pre-CMML conditions and oligomonocytic CMML, with special reference to diagnostic criteria, differential diagnoses, clinical outcomes and management. Objective Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection is the most frequent congenital infection and a major cause of long-term neurological morbidity. The aim of this meta-analysis was to calculate the pooled rates of vertical transmission and fetal consequences according to the timing of primary maternal infection. Data sources MEDLINE, Scopus, Cochrane Library and grey literature sources were searched from inception until January 2020. Study eligibility criteria Cohort and observational studies reporting timing of maternal CMV infection and rate of vertical transmission or fetal consequences were included. The primary outcomes were (i) vertical transmission and ii) fetal insult, defined either as prenatal findings from the central nervous system (CNS) leading to termination of pregnancy, or the presence of neurological symptoms at birth. The secondary outcomes included (i) sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) and/or neurodevelopmental delay at follow-up, and (ii) prenatal CNS ultrasound findings STUDY APPRAISAL AND SYNTHE and third trimester were 22.8% (95%CI 15.4% to 30.2%), 0.1% (95%CI 0% to 0.8%), and 0% (95%CI 0% to 0.1%), respectively. Conclusions Vertical transmission after maternal primary CMV infection increases with advancing pregnancy, starting from the preconceptional period. However, severe fetal consequences are rare after first-trimester infection.Cognitive control refers to the ability of human beings to adapt flexibly and quickly to continuously changing environments. Several decades of research have identified a diverse range of mental processes that are associated with cognitive control but the extent to which shared systems underlie cognitive control in social and non-social contexts, as well as how these systems may vary across individuals, remains largely unexplored. By integrating methodological approaches from experimental and differential psychology, the current study is able to shine new light on the relationships between stable features of individuals, such as personality and sex, and the architecture of cognitive control systems using paradigms that index social (automatic imitation) and spatial processes. Across three large-sample experiments (>600 participants in total), we demonstrate that cognitive control systems are largely invariant to stable aspects of personality, but exhibit a sex difference, such that females show greater task-in-social control.Introduction The loss of a significant other is a stressful life event, especially for older people. P505-15 supplier The aim of this study was to investigate user acceptance of an internet-based self-help program for mourners aged 60 years and above. Potential access paths as well as barriers of use were to be identified from both users' and experts' perspectives. Methods This study is following a qualitative design. Two focus groups were formed consisting of elderly people (60+) with loss experience (N=12) and of experts from the medical care system (N=8). The focus groups were conducted using a discussion guide related to the model of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). Focus group data were recorded by audio tape and fully transcribed. Qualitative content analysis according to Mayring (2015) was applied using MAXQDA. Results The mean age of elderly participants with loss experience was 64.5 years, 50 % were women. From the user's perspective, an internet-based self-help program should comprise nce was discussed as a potential barrier. Discussion A key aspect and prerequisite for the use and effectiveness of an internet-based self-help intervention for mourners is user acceptance. Judgments from potential users and experts showed a high user acceptance, but also the need to address age group-specific topics for coping with grief. Conclusion Internet-based self-help interventions can be a promising add-on treatment option for elderly bereaved people. The implementation of such programs should take the access paths mentioned into account in order to inform users and experts about the intervention. Objective The purpose of this study was to quantify the impact that self-quarantine has on behaviors associated with weight gain. Methods This was a quantitative descriptive/correlational research design. Research announcement was sent out via Facebook to 1200 possible participants. Six surveys were condensed into a single Survey Monkey questionnaire for participants to complete. Surveys asked questions relating to risk factors linked to weight gain. Results Ninety-one percent of our sample stated they spend more time at home now than before COVID-19. Twenty-two percent of the sample stated they gained 5-10 pounds. Within those who gained 5-10 pounds, there was a significantly higher percentage of the total sample who reported they increased eating in response to sight and smell (p = .048), eating in response to stress (p = .041), and snacking after dinner (p = .016) compared to those who stated they did not change those behaviors at all. There were significant relationships between predictor variables hours of sleep per night and physical activity time on reported weight gain (r = -.
