Pluvial Waterflow and drainage Patterns along with Holocene Desiccation Inspired your Anatomical Buildings involving Relict Dace, Relictus solitarius (Teleostei: Cyprinidae).
This review summarizes recent biomedical discoveries in the Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHaD) hypothesis and highlight possible developmental programming mechanisms, including prenatal structural defects, metabolic (mitochondrial dysfunction, oxidative stress, protein modification), epigenetic and glucocorticoid signalling-related mechanisms suggesting molecular clues for the causes and consequences of programming of increased susceptibility of offspring to metabolic disease after birth. Identifying mechanisms involved in DOHaD can contribute to early interventions in pregnancy or early childhood, to re-set the metabolic homeostasis and break the chain of subsequent events that could lead to the development of disease.
Female genital mutilation is a public health problem resulting in multiple health complications. In Ethiopia, female circumcision is widely practiced, with women taking center stage in the perpetuation of the practice. Using the Theory of Planned Behavior for variable selection, the following study assessed the association between maternal attitude towards female circumcision and daughter's circumcision status.

From the 2016 Ethiopian Demographic and Health Survey, we analyzed a subsample of 6948 women. The outcome variable assessed daughter's circumcision status; the main independent variable assessed participant's opinion towards female circumcision. We conducted univariate, bivariate, and multiple logistic regression analyses.

In the bivariate analysis, none of the variables, except for religion, showed any association with daughter's circumcision status. In the multivariable regression model, several variables showed a significant association with daughter's circumcision status. Older, rural, and circumcised women were more likely to have at least one daughter circumcised, but wanting female circumcision to stop, being a Muslim, and having at least a secondary education were negatively associated with daughter's circumcision status.

Our findings suggest that eliminating female circumcision may require changing maternal attitudes towards the practice by targeting rural, circumcised, and older women with no formal education.

Specimen extraction is a major challenge in total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH) and tissue morcellation may be needed to extract a large uterus.

The study aims to determine preoperative factors that could predict the need for uterine morcellation in TLH, and also find the best cut-off values of each measured parameter leading to optimum sensitivity and specificity.

This was a cross-sectional study of women from August 2019 to May 2020 who underwent TLH, with or without salpingo-oophorectomy in our department. We performed bimanual exams preoperatively to estimate the uterine size and recorded the uterine ultrasonographic dimensions and myoma size in myomatous uteri. 5-Azacytidine Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) were used to establish cut-offs that maximised the sensitivity and specificity of each factor in predicting the need for morcellation. Poisson regression was used to calculate the relative risks (RR) of each cut-off.

One hundred and sixty-two women were recruited in the study. ROC curves demonstrated maximum sensitivities and specificities with a cross-sectional area of 36.5cm
, the largest leiomyoma dimension of 40mm, uterine length of 10cm, and bimanual uterine size of 13weeks. Multiple modified Poisson regression revealed that the strongest predictors of morcellation were the largest leiomyoma diameter of >40mm (RR 3.58), the uterine cross-sectional area of >36.5cm
(RR 6.38), and uterine size in the bimanual exam of >13weeks pregnancy (RR 3.57).

The largest leiomyoma diameter, uterine cross-sectional area, and size on a bimanual exam can all be used to predict needing morcellation preoperatively in TLH.

To develop a core outcome set for trials investigating interventions to prevent stillbirth.

Outcomes identified from a systematic literature review and semi-structured interviews with parents in Australia and the UK were entered into a two-round online Delphi survey and focus group/consensus meetings.

A core outcome set containing 11 outcomes in two categories. Five outcomes were related to the mother; fetal loss, onset of and mode of delivery, maternal mortality or near miss, psychological and social impact on the women, women's knowledge. Six outcomes were related to the baby; timing of stillbirth, neonatal mortality, gestational age at delivery, birthweight, congenital anomaly, NICU/SCBU or other higher-level neonatal care length of stay.

Implementation and dissemination of this core outcome set in future trials will contribute towards coordinated outcome reporting and advancing usefulness of research to guide clinical practice.

The genes that become corrupted in this process vary among different tumour types, reflecting specific vulnerabilities and dependencies of the cell from which the cancer originated. This also applies to 'melanoma', a cancer that constitutes not one, but multiple diseases that can be separated based on their cell of origin, aetiology, clinical appearance and course, and response to treatment. In this article, we review the current classification of melanoma within distinct evolutionary pathways and the associated genetic alterations. In addition, we review the application of molecular diagnostics to the diagnosis of melanocytic tumours in the context of histopathological assessment.
