Olympic Park Dog Grooming: Pro Pet Care at Your Doorstep

Devil’s Punchbowl is a 2.4-mile out-and-back hike on a mostly paved trail. Most of the hike is along Lake Crescent’s shoreline so that you can enjoy its serene beauty almost every step of the way. That means you need another day to travel to and from the park. Ideally, that day will also give you time to get settled with groceries and accommodations. The following morning is when your 3 days in Olympic National Park itinerary really begins. I recommend downloading your directions because some areas are so remote your phone will not have a signal.
While the twig-strewn shores may not scream “beach day material,” this is one of the most loved stretches of the lake. It has a nice shallow entry, which means the water is warmer than in other parts of the lake. Generally I wouldn't go with a double, but a friend was paying, so hey, why not? I will say the texture of the beef was just a tiny bit off, maybe coulda run the beef through the grinder one more time. Realistically, I wish I could give this 3 1/2, as this isn't quite a 4...

Please drive in front of our automatic wash bays or a suitable self-serve wash or vacuum bays. Self-Serve Bays is meant to complement the Automatic car wash facility and fulfil your car’s washing requirements. Services on offer include wash and blow-dry, clipping to your requirements, flea and tick treatments, worming treatments, nail clipping and deshedding.
But if you’re a dog owner you know better than anyone that National Parks (aside from a select few, like Olympic – but we’ll get into that later) are NOT the most dog friendly. Submitting an order on does not guarantee a reservation. The credit card you provide will be charged the full amount of the required deposit after availability is confirmed. Deposit of first night stay plus tax is due at the time of booking except where otherwise noted. Remaining balance and incurred incidentals must be paid upon check-out. At Check-in, guests will be asked if they would like to contribute an optional $3.00 donation to Washington's National Park Fund ().

Moreover, you can combine Cape Flattery and Shi Shi Beach in one day. For an epic PNW bucket list adventure, hike to Shi Shi Beach. Better yet, you can camp at Shi Shi Beach for one of the most incredible experiences in Olympic National Park.. Kalaloch Beach is one of the few beaches on the Olympic National Park coastline with an extensive sandy shore.
Olympic Lodge – Located in Port Angeles, this is a perfect place to stay if you’re looking for a bit of luxury when exploring. They have a number of cosy rooms available, a beautiful location, a swimming pool and even a restaurant on site. Rialto Beach is the park’s most accessible and popular, and from here, you can take a short hike about two miles to a picturesque rock formation known as Hole-in-the-Wall. The Sol Duc Hot Springs is family-friendly and includes changing rooms, restaurants, cabins, and lodge rooms if you’d like to stop for the night. There are also hiking trails in this area of the park, including a route to Marymere Falls or The Moments in Time Nature Trail.
The hike to Marymere Falls by way of the Barnes Creek trail, is a favorite, as is the Spruce Railroad trail that runs along the north shore. Situated in a coastal forest, some sites offer views of the Quillayute River. The Hoh Area is characterized by its gorgeous rainforest, which is carpeted by a lush green covering of moss and deciduous plants. The appeal of visiting the Hoh Area is obvious; it’s one of the most unique places to stay in the Olympic Park area and has a certain blissful solitude when you explore.

To turn this visit into a hike, walk north along the beach until you get to the Hoh River . This hike can be done as a big day hike or as an overnight backpacking trip. Starting at Sol Duc Falls, you will hike past Deer Lake and then enter the subalpine region. On this hike, you get to see more than seven lakes and there is a very good chance that you will spot black bear and other wildlife along the trail. This is a short, sweet hike to waterfall that is tucked away in an old growth forest.
