This real-world, multicenter, retrospective, observational study included patients with BRAF V600-mutated mCRC treated in eight hospitals in Spain. The superior accuracy and sensitivity of
F-FDG-PET/CT in comparison to morphological imaging alone leads to an upstaging in up to 30% of lymphoma patients. Novel digital PET/CT scanners might enable to reduce administered tracer activity or scan time duration while maintaining diagnostic performance; this might allow for a higher patient throughput or a reduced radiation exposure, respectively. In particular, the radiation exposure reduction is of interest due to the often young age and high remission rate of lymphoma patients.

F-FDG-PET/CT examinations on a digital PET/CT (Siemens Biograph Vision) with a total scan time duration of 15 min (reference acquisition protocol) and 5 min (reduced acquisition protocol) using continuous-bed-motion. Both data sets were reconstructed using either standalone time of flight (TOF) or in combination with point spread fuced threefold without compromising diagnostic performance. Especially a reduction of administered activity might allow for a lower radiation exposure and better health economics. Larger trials are warranted to confirm our results.

In most low-income countries, febrile-pediatric-cases are often treated empirically with accessible antibiotics without periodic epidemiological surveillance, susceptibility testing, or minimal lethal dose calculations. With this backdrop, the study was undertaken to evaluate the susceptibility trend of Salmonella enterica against the commonly prescribed antibiotics.
All isolates of Salmonella enterica were identified by standard protocols of biotyping and serotyping, then tested against antibiotics by the modified Kirby disk-diffusion method. Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) of isolates was determined by the agar-dilution method and compared with disk diffusion results and on nalidixic-acid sensitive/resistant strains.
Among 1815 febrile-pediatric patients, 90(4.9%) isolates of Salmonella enterica [serovar Salmonella Typhi 62(68.8%) and Salmonella Paratyphi A 28(31.1%)] were recovered. The incidence of infection was higher among males, age groups 5 to 9, and patients enrolling in the out-patient ts empirical use among the study age group.

To evaluate the distribution pattern and changes of strabismus surgery in northern China.
The records of strabismus patients at Qingdao Eye Hospital from January 2014 to December 2019 were reviewed retrospectively. The characteristics analyzed included gender, regional distribution, constituent ratio of age and type of strabismus. Changes during the periods 2014-2016 and 2017-2019 were compared and analyzed.
A total of 5746 strabismus patients were recruited. The number of strabismus patients was relatively stable each year from 2014 to 2016 but gradually increased each year from 2017 to 2019. Of these, 51.7% (2968/5746) were male, and 48.3% (2778/5746) were female. The majority (89.8%, 5159/5746) of the patients were from Shandong Province. The statistical results of the constituent ratio of age showed that 32.4% (1860/5746) were 7-12years old (primary school level). Patients under 12years of age (preschool and primary school level) accounted for 60.0% (3447/5746) of all the patients. In terms of the tt exotropia was the most common type of exotropia. The rate of exotropia to esotropia was 51.
The role of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT) in ovarian cancer is still elusive. Our aim is to explore the expression of NNMT in ovarian cancer and to assess its association with patient prognosis and treatment response.
We first analyzed the differential expression of NNMT among fallopian tube epithelium, primary ovarian cancers, metastatic ovarian cancers, and recurrent ovarian cancers using Gene Expression Ominus (GEO) database (GSE10971, GSE30587, GSE44104 and TCGA datasets). Then, we assessed the association of NNMT expression with clinical and molecular parameters using CSIOVDB database and GSE28739 dataset. Next, we evaluate the association of NNMT expression with the prognosis of ovarian cancer patients in both GSE9891 dataset and TCGA dataset. Finally, GSE140082 dataset was used to explore the association of NNMT expression with bevacizumab response.
