The primary amine group displays a superior influence on the catalysis compared to a secondary amine group with an analogous cobaloxime template.Cornea tissue is in high demand by tissue donation centres globally, and thus tissue engineering cornea, which is the main topic of corneal translational medicine, can serve as a limitless alternative to a donated human cornea tissue. Tissue engineering aims to produce solutions to the challenges associated with conventional cornea tissue, including transplantation and use of human amniotic membrane (HAM), which have issues with storage and immune rejection in patients. Accordingly, by carefully selecting biomaterials and fabrication methods to produce these therapeutic tissues, the demand for cornea tissue can be met, with an improved healing outcome for recipients with less associated harmful risks. In this review paper, we aim to present the recent advancements in the research and clinical applications of cornea tissue, applications including biomaterial selection, fabrication methods, scaffold structure, cellular response to these scaffolds, and future advancements of these techniques.The first example of a directed and regioselective arylation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) by using a P[double bond, length as m-dash]O directing group is reported herein. The protocol uses a cheap copper catalyst, and results in a breakthrough meta-selective C-H functionalization of arylphosphine oxide compounds. Substrates with potential fluorescence properties, for example, pyrene and fluoranthene, were successfully arylated under the system, thus achieving an efficient modification of fluorescent molecules containing the P[double bond, length as m-dash]O functional group.Tetrahexahedral Pd-Ag alloy nanocrystals enclosed by high-index 520 facets with enhanced electrocatalytic activity have been synthesized using an Ag(i)-assisted growth protocol. The underpotential deposition of Ag plays dual roles in the formation of tetrahexahedral nanocrystals it not only stabilizes the high-index 520 facets, but also facilitates the formation of Pd-Ag alloys.Type I collagen, the most abundant and arguably the most complex molecule in the human body, is an ABB heterotrimer that self-assembles to form well-defined nanofibers. We herein for the first time report the construction of peptides that could simultaneously mimic the heterotrimer composition and the self-assembly features of Type I collagen.We report a biocatalytic, buoyancy-propelled metal-organic framework (MOF) nanomotor system with boosted removal efficiency for both inorganic heavy metal ions and organic per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). With the motion-induced convection and increased mass transfer of the target pollutants, the nano system exhibits excellent contaminants remediation capacity in both fresh water and sea water environments.Syntheses of a new tripodal alane/tris(phosphine) ligand (AlP3) based on 2-(diisopropylphosphino)pyrrole, and AlP3-supported Ni complexes are reported. The resulting [(H2O)xM2(α2,α2'-P2W16O60)(PhPO)22]8- dimer clusters are stable in solution, exhibit interesting electrochemical behavior, and, for the DyIII derivative, single ion-magnet characteristics.The golden section point in carbon catalysts for acetylene hydrochlorination has been determined. The surface sp2  sp3 ratio of two types of carbon catalysts, including nanodiamond- and graphite-oriented carbons, both have a volcano relationship with the catalytic performance for acetylene hydrochlorination, and the optimized ratios are both around 32-35%.Molecular rotors exhibit fluorescence enhancement in a confined environment and thus have been used extensively in biological imaging. In this work, we developed an upconverting nanoparticle (UCNP) based lateral-flow immunoassay (LFIA) for the point-of-care quantitative detection of THC in oral fluids of drug-impaired personnel. UCNPs convert near-infrared excitation into visible emissions and have superior properties over other fluorescent nanoparticles. We employed a novel signal amplification technique for enhancing the sensitivity of LFIA. Contrary to standard LFIA biosensors, we integrated an additional enhancement pad (EP) between the conjugate pad (CP) and nitrocellulose membrane.
