Inorganic perovskite CsPbBr3 has broad application prospects in photovoltaic windows, tandem cells, and other fields due to its intrinsic semitransparency, excellent photoelectric properties, and stability. In this work, a high-quality semitransparent CsPbBr3 film was prepared by a sequential vacuum evaporation deposition method without high-temperature annealing and successfully used as the active layer of flexible perovskite solar cells (F-PSCs) for the first time, achieving a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 5.00%. By introducing an energy-level buffer layer of Cu2O between CsPbBr3 and Spiro-OMeTAD, the champion PCE has been further improved to 5.67% owing to the reduction of electron-hole recombination and enhanced charge extraction. The optimized devices present higher stability, which can maintain more than 95% of the initial efficiency even after continuous heating at 85 °C for 240 h. Adavosertib Moreover, the F-PSCs also exhibit excellent mechanical durability, and 90% of the original PCE can be retained after 1000 bending cycles at a curvature radius of 3 mm.The ecofriendly combustion synthesis (ECS) and self-combustion synthesis (ESCS) have been successfully utilized to deposit high-k aluminum oxide (AlOx) dielectrics at low temperatures and applied for aqueous In2O3 thin-film transistors (TFTs) accordingly. The ECS and ESCS processes facilitate the formation of high-quality dielectrics at lower temperatures compared to conventional methods based on an ethanol precursor, as confirmed by thermal analysis and chemical composition characterization. The aqueous In2O3 TFTs based on ECS and ESCS-AlOx show enhanced electrical characteristics and counterclockwise transfer-curve hysteresis. The memory-like counterclockwise behavior in the transfer curve modulated by the gate bias voltage is comparable to the signal modulation by the neurotransmitters. ECS and ESCS transistors are employed to perform synaptic emulation; various short-term and long-term memory functions are emulated with low operating voltages and high excitatory postsynaptic current levels. High stability and reproducibility are achieved within 240 pulses of long-term synaptic potentiation and depression. The synaptic emulation functions achieved in this work match the demand for artificial neural networks (ANN), and a multilayer perceptron (MLP) is developed using an ECS-AlOx synaptic transistor for image recognition. A superior recognition rate of over 90% is achieved based on ECS-AlOx synaptic transistors, which facilitates the implementation of the metal-oxide synaptic transistor for future neuromorphic computing via an ecofriendly route.Rapid dechlorination and full mineralization of para-chlorophenol (4-CP), a toxic contaminant, are unfulfilled goals in water treatment. Means to achieve both goals stem from the novel concept of coupling catalysis by palladium nanoparticles (PdNPs) with biodegradation in a biofilm. Here, we demonstrate that a synergistic version of the hydrogen (H2)-based membrane biofilm reactor (MBfR) enabled simultaneous removals of 4-CP and cocontaminating nitrate. In situ generation of PdNPs within the MBfR biofilm led to rapid 4-CP reductive dechlorination, with >90% selectivity to more bioavailable cyclohexanone. Then, the biofilm mineralized the cyclohexanone by utilizing it as a supplementary electron donor to accelerate nitrate reduction. Long-term operation of the Pd-MBfR enriched the microbial community in cyclohexanone degraders within Clostridium, Chryseobacterium, and Brachymonas. In addition, the PdNP played an important role in accelerating nitrite reduction; while NO3- reduction to NO2- was entirely accomplished by bacteria, NO2- reduction to N2 was catalyzed by PdNPs and bacterial reductases. This study documents a promising option for efficient and complete remediation of halogenated organics and nitrate by the combined action of PdNP and bacterial catalysis.Expanding nanomagnetism and spintronics into three dimensions (3D) offers great opportunities for both fundamental and technological studies. However, probing the influence of complex 3D geometries on magnetoelectrical phenomena poses important experimental and theoretical challenges. In this work, we investigate the magnetoelectrical signals of a ferromagnetic 3D nanodevice integrated into a microelectronic circuit using direct-write nanofabrication. Due to the 3D vectorial nature of both electrical current and magnetization, a complex superposition of several magnetoelectrical effects takes place. By performing electrical measurements under the application of 3D magnetic fields, in combination with macrospin simulations and finite element modeling, we disentangle the superimposed effects, finding how a 3D geometry leads to unusual angular dependences of well-known magnetotransport effects such as the anomalous Hall effect. Crucially, our analysis also reveals a strong role of the noncollinear demagnetizing fields intrinsic to 3D nanostructures, which results in an angular dependent magnon magnetoresistance contributing strongly to the total magnetoelectrical signal. These findings are key to the understanding of 3D spintronic systems and underpin further fundamental and device-based studies. In the immuno-oncology field, surrogate mouse monoclonal antibodies are often preferred in establishing proper PK/PD/efficacy correlations as well as supporting anticipated mouse to human translation. Thus, a highly sensitive and specific bioanalytical method is needed in quantifying those surrogate mouse antibodies after dosing in mice. Unfortunately, when specific reagents, such as recombinant target antigen and anti-idiotypic antibody, are not available, measuring mouse surrogate antibody drugs in mice is very challenging for ligand binding assay (LBA) due to the severe cross reactivity potential. Different from LBA, if at least one unique surrogate peptide can be identified from the surrogate antibody sequence, the immunoaffinity enrichment based LC/MS/MS assay may be able to differentiate the analyte response from the high endogenous immunoglobulin background and provide adequate sensitivity. Herein, a new automated multicycle immunoaffinity enrichment method was recently developed to extract a surrogate mouse IgG1 (mIgG1) antibody drug from mouse plasma using a commercially available antimouse IgG1 secondary antibody.
