Inguinal lymph node dissection (ILND) is an essential step in both treatment and staging of several malignancies including penile and vulvar cancers. Various open, video endoscopic, and robotic-assisted techniques have been utilized so far. In this review, we aim to describe available minimally invasive surgical approaches for ILND, and review their outcomes and complications.

Abdominal hysterectomy is one of the most commonly performed gynecologic surgical procedures and is frequently associated with moderate to severe pain. The present study compared the effects of morphine and ketamine on postoperative analgesia, hemodynamic stability, and postoperative adverse effects in patients who underwent abdominal hysterectomy.

Tremendous physical and psychological pressure has been placed on health care workers because of the outbreak of novel coronavirus disease 2019. This study aimed to examine the anxiety and depression levels and related factors among health care professionals working in operating theaters (anesthetic technicians and nurses) during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic.

The universe of this descriptive study consisted of health care professionals working in operating theaters in various health care institutions in Turkey.

To verify the feasibility of the clinical-based discharge (CBD) criteria and identify the reasons of long postanesthesia care unit length of stay (PACU-LOS) for ophthalmic ambulatory surgical patients under general anesthesia.

Medical records were collected from patients admitted for strabismus ambulatory surgery under general anesthesia from September 2018 to March 2019.
