5, and 3 ml, besides the control test. Results obtained for the effect of botanical extracts; leaf, flower, stem and root against R. ferrugineus larvae for an exposure period of 24 hr. at the concentrations of 2.8, 4.2, 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0 ppm. The concentrations for N. glauca extracts reflected an LC50 of 2.7 ppm for leave, 2.6 ppm for flower, 2.8 ppm for stem and 7.00 ppm for root. While, the same concentrations extracts reflected an LC95of 11 ppm for leaf, 9.6 ppm for flower, 8.9 ppm for stem and 13.00 ppm for root. These results showed that N. glauca extracts have a remarkable potentiality as insecticidal substances that can be used as an ecofriendly integrated approach for the management of R. ferrugineus.A new and simple protocol has been developed and standardized for direct somatic embryogenesis and plant regeneration from aseptic seedlings derived from immature Brassica juncea seeds. Depending on the age of immature seeds and nutrient media, in vitro occurrence of embryogenesis and the number of embryos from each seedling have varied greatly. The largest number of somatic embryos, producing 12.7 embryos per seedlings, have been developed by seedlings obtained from immature seeds collected after 21 days of pollination (DAP). Effect of different nutrient media [Gamborg (B5), Murashige and Skoog (MS) and Linsmaier and Skoog (SH)] and carbon sources (fructose, glucose, maltose and sucrose) were assessed to induce somatic embryos and the maximum response were achieved on Nitsch culture medium fortified with sucrose (3% w/v) followed by fructose and maltose. The somatic embryo converted into complete plantlets within 04-weeks of culture on Nitsch medium containing half-strength of micro and macro salts. The regenerated plantlets were successfully established in soil with 90% survival rate. The acclimated plants were subsequently transferred to field condition where they grew normally without any phenotypic differences. Genetic stability of B. juncea plants regenerated from somatic embryos were confirmed by inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR)-PCR analysis and flow cytometry. No significant difference in ploidy level and ISSR banding pattern were documented between somatic embryo's plants and control plants grown ex vitro.Black chickpea is a good source of bioactive compounds, particularly isoflavones. Sprouting improves nutraceutical value in chickpea seeds. This study aimed to explore the role of sprouting of black chickpea seeds on the synthesis of isoflavones and evaluate the impact of the soluble isoflavone on cellular antioxidant activity (CAA) and antiproliferative activity in breast cancer cells. Isoflavones were identified and quantified by HPLC-UV-MS. The CAA and antiproliferative activity were determined in HepG2 cells and MDA-MB-231 cancer cells, correspondingly. In sprouted black chickpea, six isoflavones (formononetin, biochanin-A, and its glycosides) were identified and the total isoflavones content increased (0.31 to 35.72 µgBA/mg of extract). The CAA was increased five times from 137.2 to 788.2 µMEQ/100 g of sample. The bioactive compounds in sprouted chickpea decreased the proliferation of MDA-MB-231 cell line. Also caused morphological changes such as cell shrinkage, rounding and nuclear fragmentation. The results herein suggest that bioactive compounds, as isoflavones, in sprouted black chickpea showed a potential antioxidant and antiproliferative activity. Therefore, it may be considered as a value-added product or ingredient for produce functional foods. We evaluated the compaction tolerance of some warm-season turfgrasses under shade and sunlight conditions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Hybrid bermudagrass, Cynodon dactylon, cultivars 'Tifway' and 'Tifsport,' seashore paspalum (Paspalum vaginatum) and its cultivar 'Sea Isle 2000' were used. The study area was divided into two sections one was exposed to sunlight and the other was maintained under 70% shade using a green plastic grille. Turfgrasses were planted using "sods" in beds containing a mixture of sand, silt, and peat moss (4 1 1, v/v). The soil was compacted using a locally-made 250 kg cylindrical roll, passing four times over the grown turfgrasses for 3 days/week. The results showed that plant height, leaf area, grass quality and color were decreased by compaction in both the shade and sunlight areas. Plant height in the shaded area with or without compaction was higher than in the sunlight area. Under compaction, 'Sea Isle 2000' was the shortest 8.8 cm in the sunlight and 14.3 cm in the shade. find more For grasses grown in sunlight, compaction decreased grass height, and height was lowest (4.0 cm) for paspalum 'Sea Isle 2000' in January. In the shaded area, paspalum turfgrass retained its high quality (4.0) in April, May, and June. In the sunlight area, the grass quality was highest (4.0) in 'Sea Isle 2000' and the lowest (3.0) in 'Tifsport.' Paspalum turfgrass showed a higher color degree (4) than bermudagrass (2.5) in April, May, and June. Compaction also led to a decline in leaf area and fresh and dry weights of all grown turfgrasses. The grass density was high for paspalum turfgrasses, indicating that their resistance to compaction was greater than bermudagrasses. It can be concluded that the best compaction and shade-tolerant turfgrasses are 'Sea Isle 2000' and seashore paspalum.
This study examined usefulness and efficiency of Lurasidone in appraisal with the placebo as for the treatment of Bipolar Disorders.

Seven treatment centers in Pakistan were selected for the purpose of starting a six week-long control trial (randomized and double-blind placebo). 76 subjects, already diagnosed with Bipolar I or II based on DSM 5 diagnosis, were selected after randomization. Patients were allocated in one of the two groups. Primary efficacy of the drug was measured using Young Mania Rating Scale. Positive response of the drug was defined as 50% reduction in symptoms from the baseline/13 point less than the baseline score on Young Mania Rating Scale. Efficacy and safety of the drug was assessed using variety of markers such as administering extra-pyramidal symptoms rating scale, adverse side effects reported, electrocardiograms, body weight, vital signs changes, and laboratory investigations.

Patients treated with Lurasidone showed enhanced improvement in their overall health and symptoms manifestation in comparison to patients who were given placebo
Lurasidone treated patients showed a better response to the drug (66%), in comparison with the placebo treated patients (42%).
