Materials & methods An extreme sampling approach was used to select 211 individuals from the top and bottom 15% of adjusted lipid-lowering response residuals to simvastatin after eight consecutive weeks. DNA methylation was measured before treatment by the MethylTarget bisulfite sequencing method. ResultsABCG1_A DNA methylations were negatively associated with baseline high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and the change in HDL-C after treatment. ABCG1_C methylations were also related to the change in triglyceride and HDL-C. Moreover, mean ABCG1_A and ABCG1_C methylations explain 7.2% of the ΔTC (total cholesterol) and 17.5% of the ΔHDL-C level variability, respectively. We evaluate classification performance of 10 different hand motions using several feature-channel combinations with wrapper method. Highest classification accuracy of 98.7% is achieved with each feature-channel combination. Compared to previous studies, we achieve the highest accuracy for 10 classes with lower number of feature-channel combination. We used a cross-sectional design with a convenience sample including 1100 participants. Data were collected online. Depression revealed a worsening pattern as quarantine sub-periods went by. Anxiety (both state and trait), just like suicidal risk, partially follow such a pattern, with mean scores increasing from the first to the second/third quarantine extensions, but then maintaining to the fourth extension. The generic inverse-variance method with a random-effects model was used for meta-analysis. Results Four studies were included for this meta-analysis. ctDNA-positive colon cancer patients after surgery and ACT had a significantly increased risk of recurrence compared with ctDNA-negative patients. Conclusions ctDNA is an independent prognostic factor, and this meta-analysis is a significant step for using ctDNA instead of historical prognostic factors in the adjuvant setting.
