How to Reset a Skoda Key

I just received a message that my infotainment unit is low on battery and needs to be replaced. This isn't the first time, and the last time I visited an auto shop, they replaced it for free in 2 minutes, and they said it would be working again.

An EEPROM is a non-volatile memory used in many electronic devices, such as car keys. More stores information that includes the unique authentication codes and encryption keys that your vehicle recognises when you use it to unlock or start the car. These codes are crucial because they inform your car that you are the owner of the key and have permission to drive.

If your EEPROM is damaged, the keys will stop working. The problem can be caused by pressing the wrong key or accidentally hitting the wrong key. Ignition Method
