On the crystallography and reversibility associated with lithium electrodeposits in ultrahigh ability.
The drawbacks of existing studies on alignment include the use of surgical techniques with limited accuracy and reproducibility of achieving the planned alignment, poor correlation of intraoperative data to long-term functional outcomes and implant survivorship, and a paucity of studies on the safe ranges of limb alignment. Further studies on alignment in TKA should use surgical adjuncts (e.g. robotic technology) to help execute the planned alignment with improved accuracy, include intraoperative assessments of knee biomechanics and periarticular soft-tissue tension, and correlate alignment to long-term functional outcomes and survivorship.
Strategies are needed to improve policy makers' evidence-informed decision making and the availability of evidence-based, state-supported services. This study examined whether academic-policy partnerships could promote these outcomes.

Data from two national surveys of state mental health agency representatives were used to compare barriers to implementation of evidence-based practices (EBPs) and policy makers' use of child mental health research in states with strong academic-policy partnerships in workforce training or in program implementation/evaluation (IE) with barriers in states with no or limited partnerships in these areas.

Strong IE partnerships were associated with more confidence in research use and fewer issues with provider readiness and capacity but with more issues with EBP fidelity. Strong training partnerships were associated with fewer endorsements of lack of time as a barrier to research use.

Academic-policy partnerships had some benefit for states' research use and EBP implementation. Because these partnerships may reduce barriers, further research should explore characteristics of effective collaborations.

Stable funding and access to behavioral health providers are crucial elements of success for the treatment court model. What happens when courts lose state funding and must rely on local initiatives and resources? In this study, a survey of North Carolina treatment court professionals identified resource gaps and unmet needs. The authors argue that continuing state investment could make treatment courts more viable and effective. Medicaid expansion is a potential new resource for these problem-solving courts. The ventral spinal population of V0 interneurons (INs) contributes to the coordinated movements directed by spinal central pattern generators (CPGs), including respiratory circuits and left-right alternation in locomotion. One challenge in studying V0 INs has been the limited number of cells that can be isolated from primary sources for basic research or therapeutic use. However, derivation from a pluripotent source, such as has been done recently for other IN populations, could resolve this issue. However, there is currently no protocol to specifically derive V0 interneurons from pluripotent cell types. To generate an induction protocol, mouse embryonic stem cells (mESCs) were grown in suspension culture and then exposed to retinoic acid (RA) and collected at different time points to measure mRNA expression of the V0 progenitor transcription factor marker, Dbx1, and postmitotic transcription factor marker, Evx1. The cultures were also exposed to the sonic hedgehog signaling pathway agonist purmorphamine (purm) and the Notch signaling pathway inhibitor N-N-(3,5-difluorophenacetyl-L-alanyl)-(S)-phenylglycine-t-butyl-ester (DAPT) to determine if either of these pathways contribute to V0 IN induction, specifically the ventral (V0V) subpopulation. From the various parameters tested, the final protocol that generated the greatest percentage of cells expressing V0V IN markers was an 8-day protocol using 4 days of suspension culture to form embryoid bodies followed by addition of 1 μM RA from days 4 to 8, 100 nM purm from days 4 to 6, and 5 μM DAPT from days 6 to 8. This protocol will allow investigators to obtain V0 IN cultures for use in in vitro studies, such as those examining CPG microcircuits, electrophysiological characterization, or even for transplantation studies in injury or disease models. The aim of this study is to estimate the prevalence of cardiometabolic risk factors among people living with HIV (PLWH) in the south Texas region between 2014 and 2018. A total of 2,808 PLWH from the southern Texas region were included using electronic medical records from a combination of health care system databases. The prevalence of cardiometabolic factors such as elevated blood pressure (BP), triglycerides, total cholesterol and blood glucose, low high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), and obesity was evaluated. The association between cardiometabolic risk factors and age, sex, race/ethnicity, and HIV-related variables was evaluated using logistic regression. Approximately 50.8% had elevated BP, followed by low HDL-C (41.7%), elevated glucose (40.3%), elevated triglycerides (35.5%), obesity (27.8%), and elevated total cholesterol (20%). Hispanics had a higher prevalence of low HDL-C (45.5% vs. 39.7%, p = .012), elevated glucose (48.9% vs. 36.3%, p  less then  .001), elevated triglycerides (40.4% vs. 33.0%, p = .001), and obesity (31.3% vs. 26.0%, p = .004) than non-Hispanics. Females had a higher prevalence of low HDL-C (51.9% vs. 39.1%, p  less then  .001), elevated total cholesterol (24.4% vs. 18.8%, p = .010), and obesity (49.5% vs. 21.8%, p  less then  .001) than males. Variables such as age, sex, race/ethnicity, CD4+ T cell count, and viral load use were associated with multiple cardiometabolic risk factors. The prevalence of cardiometabolic risk factors remains high among PLWH in the southern Texas region, especially among Hispanics and females.
