We were able to test drive the EV9 on a local highway for several hours. We found it to be easy to drive and comfortable to drive long distances. The EV9 can block wind and road noise while driving on the highway. It rides smoothly over bumps and ruts. The acceleration of the vehicle is astonishingly quick, and it has adjustable regenerative brakes that permit "one-pedal driving" simply by releasing the accelerator.

The EV9 has excellent range and can be fully recharged within three hours at home or using any commercial charger. The driver can select from two operating modes: eco mode and sport mode. The eco mode is a preference for the torque and cruise control and the sport mode is designed to maximize speed and handling. GreenPower produces about 10 EV Star busses a month for Jacksonville Transit Authority. The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their fleet of diesel vehicles with 100 all-electric cars. With the Biden Administration planning to electrify schools across the nation, GreenPower plans on ramping production to meet demand.
