The platform's design is based on a simple sheet of paper, which allows for the best placement of the battery pack and a lower center-of-gravity. This results in better payload/range ratios.

The EV Star REEFERX was designed for mid-to last mile refrigerated deliveries as well as catering applications. The refrigerated truck's class 4 configuration's one wall structure in the interior and higher insulation than traditional trucks allow for seamless sanitation, better temperature control and a more extended life. GreenPower has collaborated with Perrone Robotics to up-fit the EV Star with their TONY (To Navigate You) autonomous vehicle system, which will allow fleets to easily change to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star will also be capable of wireless charging of 75 kW.

We had the chance to test drive the EV9 for several hours on a local highway and found it easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The EV9 can block road noise and wind while driving on the highway. It is smooth on bumps and ruts. The car's acceleration is surprisingly quick, and it has adjustable regenerative brakes to enable "one-pedal driving" simply by lifting off the accelerator.


green power scooter is extremely reliable and can be fully charged in about three hours at home or using any commercial charger. The driver can choose from two operating modes - eco mode and sport mode. The eco mode is a preference for torque and cruise control and the sport mode is designed to maximize speed and handling. Both are fun to drive and offer an unique experience for those who have never driven an electric vehicle before.

GreenPower provides a variety of other EVs which include a multi-purpose electric minibus called the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA-compliant and can be used for executive shuttles, microtransit and transit vanpools, buses, or paratransit vehicles.

GreenPower is already producing about 10 EV Star buses a month for the Jacksonville Transit Authority, which is working to replace their fleet of diesel vehicles with 100 electric vehicles. GreenPower will increase production to meet the needs of the Biden Administration, which is looking to electrify all school buses in America. Their EV Star buses are the first of their kind to be Altoona tested and FMVSS-certified, Buy America compliant, and ADA compliant. This makes them eligible for federal transit grants.
