From January 2017 to April 2019, in Endocrinology Department for Outpatients and Inpatients of the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Chinese Medicine, 125 elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and type H hypertension with carotid artery vulnerable plaque(Qi-Yin deficiency with phlegm stagnation) were selected. According to the numerical table method, the patients were randomly divided into the control group(63 cases, including 56 cases completed) and Xiaoji group(62 cases, including 58 cases completed). Both groups were given control diet, hypoglycemic, hypotensive and symptomatic therapies. The control group was given Rosuvastatin Calcium Tablets 20 mg·d~(-1) before sleep. The Xiaojie group were given Ruisuvastatin Calcium Tablets 10 mg·d~(-1) before sleep, plus Xiaoji Recipe at ji Recipe combined with small-dose Rosuvastatin Calcium(10 mg·d~(-1)) was safe and effective in the treatment of elderly patients of type 2 diabetes mellitus with type H hypertension and vulnerable carotid artery plaque(Qi-Yin deficiency with phlegm stagnation), and superior to the single high-dose Risovastatin Calcium(20 mg·d~(-1)) regimen. It can reverse carotid plaque, and reduce the activity of vulnerable plaque and the incidence of adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events and adverse drug reactions.The aim of this study was to predict the anti-microbial components in the aerial part of Bupleurum chinense fermented by Lactobacillus plantarum through analyzing the correlation between contents of bioactive components and their inhibitory action for pathogenic bacteria. In this study, the UPLC-MS-MS detection method was established for eight flavonoids(kaempferol-3-O-β-D-rutinoside, isoquercitrin, quercetin, isorhamnetin, rutin, iridin, quercetin-3-O-β-L-arabinoside, kaempferol) and DL-3-phenyllactic acid, and the dynamic change of their contents at fermentation course were monitored. In conclusion, this study provides a theoretical basis and new idea for the further development of the large amount of wasteful aerial part of Bupleurum chinense.A method based on high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) was developed for simultaneous content determination of 14 components in rhubarb charcoal. After 18 batches of raw rhubarb materials were heated at different temperatures and time points, the contents of 14 components(5 categories) were determined, including gallic acid, 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(5-HMF), 5 kinds of free anthraquinone, 5 kinds of bound anthraquinone and 2 kinds of sennosides. In the analysis of sample color characteristics combined with principal component analysis(PCA), it was found that 18 batches of samples can be grouped into five categories, with the traditional traits "black charred on the surface, dark brown inside" as the standard. Samples of category A, B, C and D were "less" carbonized, and category E samples were carbonized "moderately or a little bit excessively". The corresponding components sennoside and combined anthraquinone showed a one-way decreasing pattern, and the contents of free anthraquinone, gallic acid and 5-HMF showed an increasing pattern before decreasing. The results showed that the contents of free anthraquinone and gallic acid in the samples were larger than those in raw materials while the contents of glycosides and combined anthraquinone were lower than those in raw materials when the samples were "less" "moderately" or "a little bit excessively" carbonized.
