In aging societies worldwide, spouses take on great responsibility for care when their partner continues to live at home. Nursing home placement occurs when the partner becomes too frail due to multimorbidity, and this will cause a change in the spouse's life. This study aimed to explore the spouse's experience of their partner's move to a nursing home. Two interviews were conducted at 9-month intervals within the project entitled "Implementation of Knowledge-Based Palliative Care in Nursing Homes". Thirteen spouses from both urban and rural areas were included, with an age-range of 60-86 years (median 72). Qualitative content analysis was performed. The main findings were captured in two themes Breaking up of close coexistence and Towards a new form of daily life. The first encompassed processing loneliness, separation and grief, exhaustion, increased burden, and a sense of guilt. The second encompassed a sense of freedom, relief, acceptance, support and comfort. Professionals in both home care and nursing home care need to develop and provide a support programme conveying knowledge of the transition process to prevent poor quality of life and depression among the spouses. Such a programme should be adaptable to individual needs and should ideally be drawn up in consultation with both partners.Rhizophora spp. particleboard with the incorporation of lignin and soy flour as binders were fabricated and the influence of different percentages of lignin and soy flour (0%, 6% and 12%) on the physico-mechanical properties of the particleboard were studied. The samples were characterised by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX), X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and internal bonding. The results stipulated that the addition of binders in the fabrication of the particleboard did not change the functional groups according to the FTIR spectrum. For XRD, addition of binders did not reveal any major transformation within the composites. SEM and EDX analyses for all percentages of binders added showed no apparent disparity; however, it is important to note that the incorporation of binders allows better bonding between the molecules. In XRF analysis, lower percentage of chlorine in the adhesive-bonded samples may be advantageous in maintaining the natural properties of the particleboard. In internal bonding, increased internal bond strength in samples with binders may indicate better structural integrity and physico-mechanical strength. In conclusion, the incorporation of lignin and soy flour as binders may potentially strengthen and fortify the particleboard, thus, can be a reliable phantom in radiation dosimetry applications.This paper proposes a new diagnostic method for sensor signals collected during semiconductor manufacturing. These signals provide important information for predicting the quality and yield of the finished product. Much of the data gathered during this process is time series data for fault detection and classification (FDC) in real time. This means that time series classification (TSC) must be performed during fabrication. With advances in semiconductor manufacturing, the distinction between normal and abnormal data has become increasingly significant as new challenges arise in their identification. One challenge is that an extremely high FDC performance is required, which directly impacts productivity and yield. However, general classification algorithms can have difficulty separating normal and abnormal data because of subtle differences. Another challenge is that the frequency of abnormal data is remarkably low. Hence, engineers can use only normal data to develop their models. This study presents a method that overcomes these problems and improves the FDC performance; it consists of two phases. Phase I has three steps signal segmentation, feature extraction based on local outlier factors (LOF), and one-class classification (OCC) modeling using the isolation forest (iF) algorithm. Phase II, the test stage, consists of three steps signal segmentation, feature extraction, and anomaly detection. The number of less distressed children (OSBD score less then 5) was significantly higher in the VR group than in the tablet group (49 [81.7%]) vs. 32 [53.3%]) (p = 0.001). The OSBD scores, the need for parental presence, the procedure time, and the number of repeated procedures were all lower in the VR group. The immersive VR experience appears to decrease the degree of anxiety in children and increase the efficiency of the procedures compared with the tablet video with the same content.As one of the main errors that affects Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) positioning accuracy, ionospheric delay also affects the improvement of smartphone positioning accuracy. The current ionospheric error correction model used in smartphones has a certain time delay and low accuracy, which is difficult to meet the needs of real-time positioning of smartphones. This article proposes a method to use the real-time regional ionospheric model retrieved from the regional Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS) observation data to correct the GNSS positioning error of the smartphone. To verify the accuracy of the model, using the posterior grid as the standard, the electron content error of the regional ionospheric model is less than 5 Total Electron Content Unit (TECU), which is about 50% higher than the Klobuchar model, and to further evaluate the impact of the regional ionosphere model on the real-time positioning accuracy of smartphones, carrier-smoothing pseudorange and single-frequency Precise Point Positioning (PPP) tests were carried out.
