Then, in 1984, the Swedish manufacturer Electrolux purchased Zanussi which boosted their position in Southern Europe and Northern Europe for both domestic and professional kitchen appliances.

Zanussi's acquisition also gave Electrolux an extensive network in Italy of service providers.
