-Pascal's principle states that when a force is applied to a confined fluid, an increase in pressure is transmitted equally to all parts of the fluid.

- Archimedes' Principle = States that the buoyant force on an object is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by the object
- Fluid forces - when you push down on the stopper it actually increases the pressure everywhere.
- Apply a small force over a small area and you increase the pressure. If you increase the pressure on one side 5 times (5 newtons per meter square) you are going to have 5 newtons more on every meter square of area.
- How do we make the airplanes fly? The air going on top of the wing is faster than below the airplane/wing. (works same along with birds)
