M89M (Mineral 89 mask, Laboratoires Vichy, France), containing 89% Vichy volcanic mineralizing water and hyaluronic acid, aims to strengthen and repair skin barrier.
To assess the efficacy, tolerance, patient satisfaction, and quality of life (QOL) using M89M after laser procedures (LP).
M89M was applied immediately post-LP for 10minutes, then daily for 5days and 2-3 times a week, up to 28days on the faces of 51 women. Evaluations were performed immediately post-LP, immediately after M89M application at D0, D1, D5, and D28, and included criteria such as erythema and skin dryness. Subjects scored burning and warm sensations, itching, skin tightness, and stinging. Skin hydration using a Corneometer, skin barrier integrity using a Tewameter, and erythema using a Chromameter were assessed. Local tolerance and adverse events were recorded. After 28days, subjects answered a questionnaire regarding the M89M subjective cosmetic properties and QOL.
All subjects were in their mid-forties with a phototype of II, III, or IV. M89M significantly (P<.001) reduced the immediate cutaneous discomfort sensation and laser procedure-related symptoms (burning, warmth sensation, itching/stinging, skin tightness). Skin hydration, and erythema, assessed using instrumental measures, were also significantly improved immediately after mask application (P≤.01). Subjects highly appreciated M89M and their QOL improved after 28days of use. Local tolerance was good to excellent in both studies.

Investigating biological processes in at-risk individuals may help elucidate the aetiological mechanisms underlying psychosis development, refine prediction models and improve intervention strategies. This study examined the associations between sleep disturbances, chronotype, depressive and psychotic symptoms in individuals at ultra-high risk for psychosis.
A sample of 81 ultra-high risk patients completed clinical interviews and self-report assessments of chronotype and sleep during the Neurapro clinical trial. Mixed regression was used to investigate the cross-sectional associations between symptoms and sleep disturbances/chronotype.
Sleep disturbances were significantly associated with increased depressive and attenuated positive psychotic symptoms. Greater preference for eveningness was significantly associated with increased negative symptoms, but not with depressive or attenuated positive psychotic symptoms.
Sleep disturbances and chronotype may impact the emerging psychopathology experienced by ultra-high risk individuals. Further, the preliminary relationship observed between greater preference for eveningness and negative symptoms offers a unique opportunity to treat negative symptoms through chronobiological approaches.

The synthesis of this kind of catalysts is highly desired and challenging. In the last few years, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been demonstrated as a promising precursor for fabricating SACs. In this review, the progress and recent advances in the synthesis of MOF-derived SACs and their electrochemical applications are summarized. First, the synthetic approaches based on MOFs and accessible characterization techniques for SACs as well as their advantages/disadvantages are discussed. Then, the electrochemical applications of these MOF-derived SACs including the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), oxygen evolution reaction (OER), hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), CO2 reduction reaction (CO2 RR), nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR), and other energy-related reactions are reviewed. Finally, insights into the current challenges and future prospects of this field are briefly presented.Single atomic Pt catalysts exhibit particularly high hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) activity compared to conventional nanomaterial-based catalysts. However, the enhanced mechanisms between Pt and their coordination environment are not understood in detail. Hence, a systematic study examining the different types of N in the support is essential to clearly demonstrate the relationship between Pt single atoms and N-doped support. Herein, three types of carbon nanotubes with varying types of N (pyridine-like N, pyrrole-like N, and quaternary N) are used as carbon support for Pt single atom atomic layer deposition. The detailed coordination environment of the Pt single atom catalyst is carefully studied by electron microscope and X-ray absorption spectra (XAS). CAY10603 Interestingly, with the increase of pyrrole-like N in the CNT support, the HER activity of the Pt catalyst also improves. First principle calculations results indicate that the interaction between the dyz and s orbitals of H and sp3 hybrid orbital of N should be the origin of the superior HER performance of these Pt single atom catalysts (SACs).
