I have been waiting for No Man's Sky for quite a long time now and I hope they soon will add a quicker way to find friends to work together and/or work as a guild, and get to the center of the galaxy as a team. Now if they do this i think it would be a great time to prepare for the future of No Man's Sky. Now if they don't add guilds or a good way to find teammates and friends, at least we will know there are other friendly explorers we may run into in the future.
Of course not everyone is going to be able to play and work together at the same time due to either different time zones or having to deal with IRL stuff. So my thought would be having specific groups for mining, combat, exploring, (etc.) and have "shifts." E.X. I would lets say go for Mining I would state I can play Wednesday - Sunday ~3hours per day around 4PM PST. Check out the outline on the bottom of this forum. But we all know doing the same thing for a while can get boring so maybe but a second or third choice you may want to do to, if not thats fine. Earlier I was talking about shifts, what I mean by shifts is lets say you want to do exploring and combat you can have the option to mine for 1 hour and explore for 1 hour or mine for 1 day and explore the other (Make your own hours.:) ) Now here are the roles I believe will help the guild.
Miner: The Miner(s) will work with the Explorers to find the necessary materials / resources (RSS) to provide fuel to make jumps in-between systems for all members. Another job for the miner will be to mine the required (RSS) for technologies to upgrade ships of all kind. Overall the Mining group will be one of the most important groups.
Possible Miner Problems: Here are some possible problems we may need to overcome while mining: #1 Heavy mining grabs attention of sentinels. #2 Creatures may attack.(Not Sure.) #3 Not enough of the required (RSS) is found. (If you think of any other problems / solutions please state them in the comment section.)
Possible Miner Solutions: Solution for #1 The combat group may be able to protect the miners. Solution for #2 (Although this may be a very minor problem or a problem that will not occur) Same as solution one. Solution for #3 If there are more miners than explorers to find (RSS) some miners may need to become temporary explorers to find the required (RSS) for the guild.
