Key codes for MAN TGX

MAN TGX key codes and blanks are different from other large truck models. Freightliner for instance, began using a new FT1001 - FT3000 series of codes in 2003. Peterbilt and Kenworth started using the P0001 - P1500 series between 2011 and 2012. International trucks also have their own code system.

Every MAN TGX key comes with a bitting algorithm that is unique to each. This code is utilized along with the Depth and Spacing Number of the key to determine its exact geometries. A Bitting Code of 11111 and a Depth and Spacing Number of 48 for instance, indicates that the key has 5 deep cuts.
