ADHD Medication
ADHD medications can ease many symptoms however they cannot solve the problem. Typically adhd no medication will prescribe medication along with behavior therapy, counseling and education services.
Stimulant drugs are among the most commonly prescribed medications for ADHD. They work by increasing and balancing levels of brain chemicals that regulate attention and behavior. They include methylphenidates (Concerta, Ritalin) and amphetamines such as Dexedrine.

Atomoxetine blocks this recycling process and increases levels of active noradrenaline within the brain. This helps to improve the ability to focus and reduce impulsive behavior.
The medication is taken orally and comes in capsule form. The medication is usually prescribed twice a day or once a day but it is also possible to give more frequently if needed. It is crucial to follow the doctor's prescription carefully, especially at the beginning of treatment. It is best to take the medicine with food and drink a large glass of water. Do not mix it with hot beverages or other medications, unless directed otherwise.
Despite research that shows that atomoxetine is more effective than dexamfetamine and methylphenidate in treating ADHD symptoms, it is still less efficient.
