The release patterns for Ru and or Pip followed two stages a zero-order for the first 12-hour stage, and a second stage of stable sustained release. The nanoformulations had enhanced anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects than any of their elements singly, and those with Ru or Pip alone showed stronger effects than those with both agents. Results of assays using a paw edema model, leukocyte migration, and plasma antioxidant capacity were in agreement. Our preliminary findings indicate that nanoformulations with these agents exert better anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects than the agents in their free form.
Natural killer (NK) cell lymphoma is a progressive non-Hodgkin's lymphoma with rare prevalence. Intraocular involvement of NK cell lymphoma is very rare, with only case reports to date.
Here, we report a case of intraocular involvement of NK cell lymphoma which was presented with bilateral uveitis, iris mass, and diffuse infiltration into the center nerve system (CNS), skin, and possibly myocardium.
Iris mass and uveitis which is not responsive to steroids may be ocular manifestations of intraocular lymphoma, such as NK cell lymphoma. Ophthalmological and systemic examinations should be required for early diagnosis and treatment.

India is the second country after China having the highest population prevalence of diabetes. Several research studies investigating diabetes have been done, but not much work has been done on prediabetes. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of nutrition and lifestyle modification on prediabetic females.
A total of 120 prediabetic females from Ludhiana city were divided into 2 matched groups control group (n = 60) and experimental group (n = 60). Impact of nutrition intervention for dietary and lifestyle modification (for 3 months) was assessed on the anthropometric, dietary, biochemical parameters, and diabetes risk score of the experimental group and control group (no intervention).
All the selected 120 subjects completed the study (experimental group = 60; control group = 60). There was significant difference in the changes between the 2 groups throughout the study. The fasting blood glucose and glycated hemoglobin A1c levels of the experimental group subjects reduced significantly (
≤ .01). However, no change was observed among the control group subjects. The lipid profile of the experimental group showed a significant improvement (
≤ .01).

A total of 1026 women (515 osteoporosis patients and 511 controls) of postmenopausal age who were randomly sampled from Xi'an 630 Hospital (Shaanxi Province, China) were involved in this study. Seven genetic polymorphisms in

Methods The outcomes of 48 patients retreated with MAPKIs and 50 patients retreated with ICIs following progression were retrospectively analyzed. Results Upon retreatment with MAPKIs, the disease control rate was 60%. Univariate analysis of possible risk factors associated with short progression-free survival upon MAPKI treatment showed elevated lactate dehydrogenase to be associated with decreased progression-free survival. Disease control rate after ICI retreatment was 24%. Melanoma of unknown primary was associated with prolonged progression-free survival upon ICI retreatment. Conclusion Retreatment with MAPKIs or ICIs is a feasible option for patients with advanced melanoma.
