Evidence of the Photoinduced Electron-Transfer Device within the Fluorescence Self-quenching of two,5-Substituted Selenophenes Prepared via Throughout Situ Reduction of Elemental Selenium in Superbasic Press.
The arrival and departure dates and the daily maximum populations of migrating swans (Cygnus cygnus) on the Asadokoro tidal flat, Hiranai town, Aomori Prefecture, Japan, were recorded by elementary school students for more than 50 years between 1956 and 2010. The Asadokoro tidal flat, which lies along the coast of Mutsu Bay, has been designated a National Special Natural Monument, known as "The swans of Kominato and their migration grounds." This long history of observation unfortunately came to an end with the closure of the elementary school in 2012. If analyzed together with data on environmental factors, such as temperature changes or the effects of avian influenza, this dataset could provide a potentially valuable source of information, and consequently, future secondary use of the data is anticipated.Virtual knees, with specimen-specific anatomy and mechanics, require heterogeneous data collected on the same knee. Specimen-specific data such as the specimen geometry, physiological joint kinematics-kinetics and contact mechanics are necessary in the development of virtual knee specimens for clinical and scientific simulations. These data are also required to capture or evaluate the predictive capacity of the model to represent joint and tissue mechanical response. This document details the collection of magnetic resonance imaging data and, tibiofemoral joint and patellofemoral joint mechanical testing data. These data were acquired for a cohort of eight knee specimens representing different populations with varying gender, age and perceived health of the joint. These data were collected as part of the Open Knee(s) initiative. Imaging data when combined with joint mechanics data, may enable development and assessment of authentic specimen-specific finite element models of the knee. The data may also guide prospective studies for association of anatomical and biomechanical markers in a specimen-specific manner. This article describes a dataset of multiangular scattering properties of small trees (height = 0.38-0.7 m) at visible, near-infrared, and shortwave-infrared wavelengths (350-2500 nm), and provides supporting auxiliary data that comprise leaf, needle, and bark spectra, and structural characteristics of the trees. Multiangular spectra were measured for 18 trees belonging to three common European tree species Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.), Norway spruce (Picea abies (L.) H. Karst), and sessile oak (Quercus petraea (Matt.) Liebl.). The measurements were performed in 47 different view angles across a hemisphere, using a laboratory goniometer and a non-imaging spectrometer. Leaf and needle spectra were measured for each tree, using a non-imaging spectrometer coupled to an integrating sphere. Bark spectra were measured for one sample tree per species. In addition, leaf and needle fresh mass, surface area of leaves, needles, and woody parts, silhouette area, and spherically averaged silhouette to total area ratio (STAR) for each tree were measured or derived from the measurements. The data are useful for modeling the shortwave reflectance characteristics of small trees and potentially forests, and thus benefit climate modeling or interpretation of remote sensing data.In pyrometallurgical furnace operation, tap-hole clay is injected into the tap-hole using a clay-gun. The goals are to stop the metal and/or slag from flowing and to create a seal between the furnace contents and the environment. The rheological properties of the tap-hole clay play an important role in this process. selleckchem Some commercial manufacturers of tap-hole clay report the workability index (WI) of their products, based on sand-rammer technology and standardised procedures. In the paper presented here, datasets are presented for three different tap-hole clays where the effect of the choice in clay on the pilot-scale clay-gun was demonstrated and an automated sand-rammer was utilised to determine the standard WI as well as an extended WI. A plate viscometer, utilised in the characterisation of electrode paste, was applied as potential alternative technology utilised when characterising the rheological properties of tap-hole clays. In all three instances, the data collection process was automated with raw and/or filtered data, available as Excel spreadsheets, published in an online repository. For the purpose of this paper, the data was analysed and presented as graphs or in tables. The data will be of future use for further studies into the effect of tap-hole clay rheology on clay-gun performance. This article reviewed dataset collected from an array of 12 coastal Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS) moorings off the southwest coast of Western Australia (WA) during 2009-2020, at depths ranging from 47 m to 500 m. The dataset includes temperatures and salinities collected with Seabird SBE37 and SBE39 sensors and Water Quality Monitor (WQM). Velocities were collected by Teledyne RDI Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP) and Nortek ADCPs. Here, a daily gridded in-situ subsurface temperature, salinity and ocean currents, and their average annual cycles are presented. Monthly data are also included. This integrated dataset provides an overview of data availability and allows users to have a quick access to the mooring data, without the need of manipulating over one thousand files individually. This unique dataset offers an invaluable baseline perspective on physical water column properties and temporal variability in WA coastal waters. The data can be used to characterise subsurface features of extreme events such as marine heat waves, marine cold-spells, and to detect long-term change signals along WA coast, influenced by the Leeuwin Current and the wind-driven Capes Current.Fasciola hepatica is a worldwide distributed zoonotic parasitic trematode, which causes a severe liver disease clinically known as fasciolasis in a large number of wild animals, several livestock species as well as humans, prevention and control of fasciolasis is made by massive use of anthelmintic compounds on livestock and inevitably this practice has led to the emergence of anthelmintic resistant Fasciola hepatica and there is a great scientific effort to elucidate the molecular basis of anthelmintic resistance of parasitic helminths in general and of Fasciola hepatica in particular that may lead to improved anthelmintic compounds. In our project, we sequenced the transcriptomes obtained from the anthelmintic response to Triclabendazole and Albendazole on four samples from sensitive and resistant strains of Fasciola hepatica on Illumina HiSeq 4000 Platform and generated about 10.03 Gb per sample. The average genome-mapping rate is 81.29% and the average gene-mapping rate is 62.81%. 30,105 genes were identified in which 28,669 of them are known genes and 1,237 of them are novel genes from novel coding transcripts without any known features, 20,743 novel RNA transcripts were identified of which 14,293 of them are previously unknown splicing event for known genes but no alternative splicing was detected, the remaining 5,213 transcripts were found to be long noncoding RNA.
