In this review, we summarize the potential inflammation-related mechanisms, targets, therapeutic drugs, and biomarkers associated with HT after t-PA thrombolysis and discuss the relationship between neuroinflammation and HT, which provides a reference for research on the mechanisms, prevention and treatment drugs, diagnosis and prognosis of HT.
Cardiovascular effects of environmental noise are a growing concern. However, the evidence remains largely limited to the association between road traffic noise and hypertension and coronary heart diseases.
To investigate the association between long-term residential exposure to environmental/transportation noise and the incidence of myocardial infarction (MI) in the adult population living in Montreal.
An open cohort of adults aged 45 years old and over, living on the island of Montreal and free of MI before entering the cohort was created for the years 2000-2014 with the Quebec Integrated Chronic Disease Surveillance System; a systematic surveillance system from the Canadian province of Quebec starting in 1996. Residential noise exposure was calculated in three ways 1) total ambient noise levels estimated by Land use regression (LUR) models; 2) road traffic noise estimated by a noise propagation model CadnaA and 3) distances to transportation sources (roads, airport, railways). Incident MI was based oevels estimated with CadnaA and MI (HR 0.99 per 10 dBA; 95%CI 0.98-1.00). Distances to major roads and highways were not associated with MI while the proximity to railways was positively associated with MI (HR for ≤100 vs>1000m 1.07; 95%CI 1.01-1.14). A negative association was found with the proximity to the airport noise exposure forecast (NEF25); HR (<1 vs >1000m)=0.88 (95%CI 0.81-0.96).
These associations suggest that exposure to total environmental noise at current urban levels may be related to the incidence of MI. Additional studies with more accurate road noise estimates are needed to explain the counterintuitive associations with road noise and specific transportation sources.

To investigate the effects of perinatal dioxin exposure indicated by dioxins in breast milk on neonatal electroencephalography (EEG) power in the quiet sleep stage, and associations with neurodevelopmental outcomes at 2 years of age.
Fifty-one mother-newborn pairs were enrolled for neonatal EEG analysis in the quiet sleep stage from a birth cohort recruited at a prefecture hospital in Bien Hoa city, Vietnam. Relative EEG power in intra-burst-intervals and high-voltage-bursts in the trace alternant pattern were computed from EEG data during the quiet sleep stage. Bempedoic Forty-three mother-child pairs participated in a 2-year follow-up survey to examine neurodevelopment using the Bayley-III scale and gaze behavior exhibited by fixation duration on the face of a child talking in videos. The general linear model and regression linear model were used for data analysis after adjusting for confounding factors.
Perinatal dioxin exposure, particularly 2,3,7,8-tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) exposure, influenced relative EEG power values mainly in the intra-burst-interval part of the trace alternant pattern in the quiet sleep stage. In intra-burst-intervals, decreased frontal delta power and increased frontal and parietal alpha power values in the left hemisphere and temporal beta power values in the right hemisphere were associated with increased TCDD exposure, with significant dose-response relationships. Almost none of the relative power values in these brain regions were associated with Bayley III scores, but relative delta power values were significantly associated with face fixation duration in left frontal and parietal regions at 2 years of age.
Perinatal dioxin exposure influences neuronal activity in the quiet sleep stage, leading to poor communication ability indicated by gaze behavior in early childhood.

Computed tomography (CT) findings of COVID-19 patients were demonstrated by cases series and descriptive studies, but quantitative analysis performed by clinical doctors and studies on its predictive value were rarely seen. The aim of the study is to analyze CT score in COVID-19 patients and explore its predictive value.
We conducted a retrospective cohort study among confirmed COVID -19 patients with available CT images between February 8, 2020 and March 7, 2020. The lung was divided into six zones by the level of tracheal carina and the level of inferior pulmonary vein bilaterally on CT. Ground-glass opacity (GGO), consolidation, crazy-paving pattern and overall lung involvement were rated by Likert scale of 0-4 or binary as 0 or 1. Global severity score for each targeted pattern was calculated as total score of six zones.
There were 53 patients and 137 CT scans included in the study. There were 18(34%) of the patients classified as moderate cases while 35(66%) patients were severe/critical cases. Severe/critical patients had higher CT scores in several types of abnormalities than moderate patients from the second week to the fourth week post symptom onset. Overall lung involvement score in the second week demonstrated predictive value for severity with a sensitivity of 81.0% and specificity of 69.2%.
Our modified semi-quantitative CT scoring system for COVID-19 patients demonstrated feasibility. Overall lung involvement score on the second week had predictive value for clinical severity and could be indicator for further treatment.
