SCZ, typically diagnosed in adolescence or adulthood, is characterized by hallucinations and delusions, and tends to be associated with declining function. However, youth with ASD are three to six times more likely to develop SCZ than their neurotypical counterparts, and increasingly, research has shown that ASD and SCZ converge at several levels. We conducted a systematic review of studies since 2013 relevant to understanding this convergence, and present here a narrative synthesis of key findings, which we have organized into four broad categories symptoms and behavior, perception and cognition, biomarkers, and genetic and environmental risk. We then discuss opportunities for future research into the phenomenology and neurobiology of overlap between ASD and SCZ. Understanding this overlap will allow for researchers, and eventually clinicians, to understand the factors that may make a child with ASD vulnerable to developing SCZ. To report a detailed surgical procedure of tissue engineered endothelial keratoplasty (TEEK) in a rabbit model and its postoperative evaluation.

TEEKs were prepared 7 days before transplantation by seeding human or rabbit corneal endothelial cells on either femtosecond laser-cut ultrathin human stromal lamellae (fs-UTSL) or femtosecond laser-cut human anterior lens capsule (fs-HALC). Thirty transplantations were performed on aphakic eyes. Recombinant tissue plasminogen activator (rTPA) was used throughout the surgery. The native endothelium was removed by full-surface scraping and central descemetorhexis. The transplantation was performed as a human Descemet's membrane endothelial keratoplasty. Controls included Descemetorhexis only and transplantation of carrier alone. Postoperative follow-up was performed by slit lamp and optical coherence tomography, followed by histology.

Three hundred fifty-two hypertensives were randomized at a 11 ratio into a LS group and a normal salt (NS) group. We compared intergroup changes observed in office blood pressure measurement (OBPM) and home blood pressure measurement (HBPM). Then, all patients in LS group were divided into tertiles according to baseline PRC, aldosterone concentration, and aldosterone/renin ratio (ARR), and changes in OBPM and HBPM were compared across the three tertile subgroups. Follow-up surveys were completed by 322 patients. The intergroup net reduction in systolic OBPM, systolic HBPM, and diastolic HBPM was -6.6, -4.6, and -2.3 mmHg, respectively (all P less then .05), and -1.8 mmHg in diastolic OBPM (P = .068). There was a more significant reduction in OBPM and HBPM among the low baseline PRC subgroup than among the high PRC subgroup. There were no significant differences in the changes in OBPM and HBPM between the three subgroups when grouped according to baseline aldosterone concentration. The reduction in OBPM and HBPM in the high tertile of ARR was larger than that in the low tertile subgroup. LS salt substitution is effective in reducing systolic OBPM, systolic HBPM, and diastolic HBPM in middle-aged and elderly hypertensive patients. LS salt substitution may offer a non-pharmaceutical therapy for hypertensive patients. Baseline PRC may be a marker to predict BP response after salt restriction.
This study aimed to verify the effects of bleaching toothpaste on colour stability, elastic properties, surface topography between aesthetic polyurethane and silicone elastomeric ligatures from different brands.

Elastomeric ligatures tested were 1-Mini Single Case Ligature Stick (RMO-polyurethane); 2-Ligature "S" Shaped Dispenser (RMO-Silicone); 3-Sany-tie (GAC-translucent polyurethane); and 4-Sili-tie (GAC-translucent silicone). The ligatures were randomly assigned from the brackets of canines and lower incisors of 40 patients. The study had two phases of 30days in which a different toothpaste was used, followed by a washout period of 30days. After each phase, ligatures were submitted to colour checking, tensile strength, and SEM.

The average of the ultimate tensile strength (m=2.59; DP=0.014) was higher in the control ligatures if compared to the tested ones (m=2.24; DP=0.014). There were no statistically significant differences between toothpastes regarding the type of ligature. Also, no interaction was observed between toothpastes in ligature's ultimate tensile strength and strain. The type of toothpaste did not minimize colour changes.

This article aimed to improve the accuracy of BCs in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation and analyze the differences in hemodynamics between healthy volunteers and patients with visceral arterial stenosis (VAS). The geometric models of seven cases were reconstructed using the magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA) or computed tomography angiogram (CTA) imaging data. The physiological flow waveforms obtained from 2D Phase Contrast Magnetic Resonance Imaging (PCMRI) were imposed on the aortic inlet and the visceral arteries' outlets. The individualized RCR values of the three-element Windkessel model were imposed on the aortic outlet. CFD simulations were run in the open-source software svSolver. Two specific time points were selected to compare the hemodynamics of healthy volunteers and patients with VAS. The results suggested that blood in the stenotic visceral arteries flowed at high speed throughout the cardiac cycle. The low pressure is distributed at stenotic lesions. The wall shear stress (WSS) reached 4 Pa near stenotic locations. The low time average wall shear stress (TAWSS), high oscillatory shear index (OSI), and high relative residence time (RRT) concentrated in the abdominal aorta. Besides, the ratios of the areas with low TAWSS, high OSI, and high RRT to the computational domain were higher in patients with VAS than which in the healthy volunteers. This is a cross sectional evaluation study on a randomized selected sample of Romanian psychiatric residents' opinions on factors that influence decision of migration in EU countries in two time points, 2015 and 2020.

Thirty-eight percent of residents intend to work abroad comparing with 78% before the economic changes (25.8% vs. 71.7% for a limited period of time and 15.7% vs. 28.3% intend to emigrate) and 2% vs. 5% intend to leave the specialty. The important factors for decision to emigrate changed from "Better working conditions" (15.7% vs. 37.3% residents) to "Better training"; the factor "respect and appreciation by colleagues" remained important for 19.
