Chemogenetically activating LJA5 neurons in male mice reduces capsaicin-induced pain and histamine-induced itch. In this article, we argue that advocacy is not unidimensional, but consists of two levels macro- and microlevel advocacy. Microlevel advocacy is client-centered and is effectively performed by couple and family therapists on a regular basis. By broadening the definition of advocacy to include the microlevel, we argue that advocacy is a common process of couple and family therapy that cuts across therapy models and is interwoven into the very being of a couple and family therapist. We present in this article a comprehensive case vignette to illustrate how microlevel advocacy may be performed by CFTs. Clinical and training implications are offered to help clinicians begin to bridge the gap between micro- and macrolevel advocacies.
The aim of our study was to compare the morbidity and long-term efficacy after laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy with and without robotic assistance.

We conducted a retrospective chart review of all laparoscopic or robotic sacrocolpopexies for POP-Q stage 2-4 vaginal prolapse performed between September 2015 and October 2018 in 2 Gynecologic Surgery Departments of France. Patients were separated into two groups a laparoscopic sacrocolpopexy group (LS) and a robotic-assisted sacrocolpopexy group (RAS). The primary outcome measure was reoperation procedures for recurrent pelvic organ prolapse (POP).

Two hundred and fourteen patients were included, 160 patients (75%) in the LS group and 54 patients (25%) in the RAS group. After a mean follow-up of 32.8months, reoperation rate for recurrent POP and the recurrent POP rate were greater in the RAS group (9.2% versus 1.2%, p = 0.01 and 25.9% versus 7.5%, p = 0.0003, respectively). No significant difference was found in terms of immediate intraoperative (3.1% versus 1.8%, p = 1) and postoperative complications (1.9% versus 1.8%, p = 1). On comparing the 2 groups by bivariate analysis, RAS significantly increased the odds of reoperation for POP recurrence (OR = 7.8 CI 95% [1.5-41.6], p = 0.02) and the odds of global reoperation (OR = 3.8 CI 95% [1.4-10.4], p = 0.0095). Similarly, multivariate logistic analysis showed that RAS increased the risks of global reoperation (OR = 3.8 CI 95% [1.3-10.6], p = 0.01) after controlling high-grade prolapse.

Hence, the aim of the study was to increase the antimicrobial properties of GICs through its modification with mixture of plant extracts to be evaluated along with an 0.5% chlorohexidine-modified GIC (CHX-GIC) with regard to biological and compressive strength properties. Conventional GIC (freeze-dried version) and CHX were used. Alcoholic extract of Salvadora persica, Olea europaea, and Ficus carcia leaves were prepared using a Soxhlet extractor for 12 h. The plant extract mixture (PE) was added in three different proportions to the water used for preparation of the dental cement (Group 11 PE, 21 PE, and 12 PE). Specimens were then prepared and tested against the unmodified GIC (control) and the 0.5% CHX-GIC. Chemical analysis of the extract mixture was performed using Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Bone marrow-derived hematopoietic stem/progenitor cells (HSPCs) are known to stimulate vascular regeneration. Activation of either the Mas receptor (MasR) by angiotensin-(1-7) (Ang-(1-7)) or angiotensin-converting enzyme-2 (ACE2) stimulates vasoreparative functions in HSPCs. This study tested if aging is associated with decreased ACE2 expression in HSPCs and if Ang-(1-7) restores vasoreparative functions. Flow cytometric enumeration of Lin-CD45lowCD34+ cells was carried out in peripheral blood of male or female individuals (22-83 years of age). Activity of ACE2 or the classical angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) was determined in lysates of HSPCs. Lin-Sca-1+cKit+ (LSK) cells were isolated from young (3-5 months) or old (20-22 months) mice, and migration and proliferation were evaluated. Old mice were treated with Ang-(1-7), and mobilization of HSPCs was determined following ischemia induced by femoral ligation. A laser Doppler blood flow meter was used to determine blood flow.
