Land comprehensive carrying capacity (LCCC) reflects the limits of urban development that the land ground in the spatial area can bear under the constraints of society, economy, resources, and environment. An accurate and objective evaluation of LCCC is of great significance to the rational planning of urban space. Using the entropy method to obtain the weights of evaluation indexes, this study constructed an index system composed of four subsystems, i.e., urban construction (UC), social economy (SE), industry development (ID), and urban ecology (UE). Furthermore, calculating the index of 11 cities for the Harbin-Changchun urban agglomeration (HCUA) to analyze the influence of LCCC from diverse dimensions for the period 2004-2015. Lastly, the spatial and temporal differentiation characteristics between the neighboring units of LCCC were visualized through global and local spatial analysis. The results infer some novel findings as follows. (1) The overall tendency of the LCCC of the HCUA has gradually increase growth pole cities, Jilin and Songyuan are forming complementary and mutual reinforcement with the core cities, which has a positive significance in promoting the sustainable development of the regional space of urban agglomeration.Although the etiology of multiple sclerosis (MS) is still unknown, it is commonly accepted that environmental factors could contribute to the disease. The objective of this study was to analyze the humoral response to Epstein-Barr virus, human herpesvirus 6A/B and cytomegalovirus, and the levels of 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D) and the three main short-chain fatty acids (SCFA), propionate (PA), butyrate (BA) and acetate (AA), in MS patients and healthy controls (HC) to understand how they could contribute to the pathogenesis of the disease. With this purpose, we analyzed the correlations among them and with different clinical variables and a wide panel of cell subsets. We found statistically significant differences for most of the environmental factors analyzed when we compared MS patients and HC, supporting their possible involvement in the disease. The strongest correlations with the clinical variables and the cell subsets analyzed were found for 25(OH)D and SCFAs levels. A correlation was also found between 25(OH)D and PA/AA ratio, and the interaction between these factors negatively correlated with interleukin 17 (IL-17)-producing CD4+ and CD8+ T cells in untreated MS patients. Therapies that simultaneously increase vitamin D levels and modify the proportion of SCFA could be evaluated in the future.All-solid-state potentiometric sensors have attracted great attention over other types of potentiometric sensors due to their outstanding properties such as enhanced portability, simplicity of handling, affordability and flexibility. Herein, a novel solid-contact ion-selective electrode (SC-ISE) based on poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) as the ion-to-electron transducer was designed and characterized for rapid detection of harmine. The harmine-sensing membrane was based on the use of synthesized imprinted bio-mimics as a selective material for this recognition. The imprinted receptors were synthesized using acrylamide (AA) and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) as functional monomer and cross-linker, respectively. The polymerization process was carried out at 70 °C in the presence of dibenzoyl peroxide (DBO) as an initiator. The sensing membrane in addition to the solid-contact layer was applied to a glassy-carbon disc as an electronic conductor. All performance characteristics of the presented eld-contact ion-to-electron transducer material in the development of harmine-ISE. The electrodes manifested enhanced stability and low cost, which provides a wide number of potential applications for pharmaceutical and forensic analysis.The quality of fresh (1 d) and stored (7-14-21 d, 21 °C) eggs was studied in Italian dual-purpose breeds (Ermellinata di Rovigo (ER), Robusta maculata (RM)) and hybrids (Hy-Line Brown (HB), Hy-Line White36 (HW)), reared outdoors (4 m2/bird) and fed commercial feed. The eggs were analyzed at 4 ages, throughout different seasonal environmental conditions, from summer (31, 35 weeks; 25 °C) until autumn (39, 43 weeks, 15 °C). Each genotype showed significant (p less then 0.01) changes in egg quality. In 1 d eggs, the eggshell thickness changed in RM and HW (quadratic), decreased linearly in ER; Haugh Units (HU) changed (ER-cubic) and decreased (hybrids-linear). In 7 d and 14 d eggs, HU linearly (p less then 0.01) decreased, except in RM. Piperaquine Autophagy inhibitor In 21 d eggs, HU (ER linear decrease; HB, HW quadratic) changed. Significant negative correlations between albumen pH and height were seen in ER (at 1 d, 14 d, 21 d) and HW (at each storage time) eggs, and in RM and HB only in 1 d eggs. RM showed a quite stable albumen quality and a lower total egg mass than ER which showed a more variable albumen quality, due also to a lower eggshell thickness and shape index. The hybrids produced a higher total egg mass than the purebreds and showed an intermediate variation of the egg quality, with an albumen quality higher than those of ER and RM only in 1 d egg, as a result of a higher albumen weight.Twelve novel derivatives of N-(furan-2-ylmethyl)-1H-tetrazol-5-amine were synthesized. For obtained compound 8, its corresponding substrate single crystals were isolated and X-ray diffraction experiments were completed. In the initial stage of research, in silico structure-based pharmacological prediction was conducted. All compounds were screened for their antibacterial and antimycobacterial activities using standard and clinical strains. The cytotoxic activity was evaluated against a panel of human cancer cell lines, in contrast to normal (HaCaT) cell lines, by using the MTT method. All examined derivatives were found to be noncytotoxic against normal cell lines. Within the studied group, compound 6 showed the most promising results in antimicrobial studies. It inhibited four hospital S. epidermidis rods' growth, when applied at the amount of 4 µg/mL. However, the most susceptible to the presence of compound 6 was S. epidermidis T 5501 851/19 clinical strain, for which the MIC value was only 2 µg/mL. Finally, a pharmacophore model was established based on lead compounds from this and our previous work.
