It is believed that, through the literature survey, the question on what we know and what we do not know about COVID-19 so far can be clear, thus providing useful information for helping curbing the epidemic from water sector. This forms the basis of the current study. As such, a bibliometric analysis was conducted. It reveals that wastewater-based epidemiology (WBE) has recently gained global attention with the source and survival characteristics of coronavirus in the aquatic environment; the methodology of virus detection; the water hygiene; and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the water ecosystem being the main topics in 2020. Various studies have shown that drinking water is safety whereas wastewater may be a potential risk during this pandemic. From the perspective of the water cycle, the scopes for further research needs are discussed and proposed, which could enhance the important role and value of water science in warning, monitoring, and predicting COVID-19 during epidemic outbreaks.Electronic waste (e-waste) generation has been growing in volume worldwide, and the diversity of its material composition is increasing. Sustainable management of this material is critical to achieving a circular-economy and minimizing environmental and public health risks. This study's objective was to investigate the use of pyrolysis as a possible technique to recover valuable materials and energy from different components of e-waste as an alternative approach for limiting their disposal to landfills. The study includes investigating the potential environmental impact of thermal processing of e-waste. The mass loss and change in e-waste chemicals during pyrolysis were also considered. The energy recovery from pyrolysis was made in a horizontal tube furnace under anoxic and isothermal conditions of selected temperatures of 300 °C, 400 °C, and 500 °C. Critical metals that include the rare earth elements and other metals (such as In, Co, Li) and valuable metals (Au, Ag, Pt group) were recovered from electronicsemi-formal recycling centers.A comprehensive review of the literature on chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) patients and recommendations regarding the evaluation and treatment of these patients was conducted. The overall prevalence of CLL and COVID-19 concurrence was found to be 0.6% (95%CI 0.5% to 0.7%). Diagnostic interaction between CLL and COVID-19 remains a major challenge. This disease has never previously been reported in Vietnam. We aimed to report a laryngotracheobronchial amyloidosis case in a 43-year-old female, which may be the first reported case in Vietnam. The patient had a 4-year history of progressive hoarseness, dyspnea, and hemoptysis. Multiple bronchial biopsies combined with detailed clinical information suggested an amyloidosis disease. Red congo staining was positive in bronchial samples, and a further workup found positive red congo staining in subcutaneous fatty tissue biopsy samples. Tracheostomy was performed due to severe dyspnea related to laryngeal stenosis. A multidisciplinary consultation was held, and chemotherapy with melphalan and dexamethasone were prescribed due to the systemic effects of the disease. After 2 cycles of chemotherapy, the patient showed improvement in dyspnea and cough. Due to the inexperience of both the clinicians and pathologists, this case was diagnosed quite late. In the future, if this diagnosis is considered in the differential diagnosis, an earlier diagnosis and better treatment outcome can be reached.Necrotizing autoimmune myopathy (NAM) is a rare inflammatory process characterized by bilateral proximal muscle weakness and elevated creatinine kinase levels. It is one of the idiopathic inflammatory myopathies. It can be associated with anti-signal recognition particle (SRP) antibody which is commonly seen in middle-aged females. Classic findings on muscle biopsy include muscle fiber necrosis without inflammation. Pulmonary manifestations associated with anti-SRP NAM is rare, and often a challenging correlation to make as our understanding of inflammatory myopathies and interstitial lung disease is still evolving. There have been some associations of Anti SRP NAM with NSIP which responds to corticosteroids. We present a 29 year old male with asymptomatic NAM who presented with a combination of NSIP and pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). His PAH was responsive to oral vasodilator therapy however his interstitial lung disease (ILD) rapidly progressed to usual interstitial pneumonia (UIP) requiring lung transplantation.
