To assess diagnostic criteria and currently used tools for the identification of central sensitization (CS) in patients with joint pain due to osteoarthritis (OA).Qualitative, cross-sectional and multicenter study based on a 2-round Delphi surveyPublic and private medical centers attending patients with joint pain.A total of 113 specialists in traumatology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, pain management, rheumatology, primary care physicians and geriatrics were enrolled in the study.Participants completed an ad-hoc 26-item questionnaire available from a microsite in Internet. The questionnaire was divided into 6 sections with general data on CS, impact of CS in patients with knee osteoarthritis (KOA), diagnostic criteria for CS, non-pharmacological and pharmacological treatment of CS and usefulness of the concept of CS in the integral management of patients with KOA. Consensus was defined as 75% agreement.Diagnostic criteria included pain of disproportionate intensity to the radiological joint lesion CS.
Survival heterogeneity is observed among renal cell carcinoma (RCC) patients with metastases in different organs. Moreover, almost all previous prognostic nomograms based on data from metastatic RCC patients did not take competing events, such as death from cerebrovascular and heart diseases, into account. We aimed to construct novel prognostic nomograms for patients with lung metastatic clear cell RCC (LMCCRCC).Data of 712 non-Hispanic white LMCCRCC patients registered in the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database were retrospectively analyzed. Nomograms for predicting overall survival (OS) and disease-specific survival (DSS) were established using the Cox approach and Fine and Gray approach, respectively, and their performances were assessed using the concordance index (C-index), calibration plots, and an independent cohort comprising 181 Hispanic patients.Sex, tumor grade, T stage, N stage, presence or absence of bone metastases, and presence or absence of brain metastases were independent for OS and 0.708 for DSS. Both internal and external calibration plots showed excellent consistency between the prediction and the observation. The current study developed a novel nomogram for predicting individual OS in LMCCRCC patients. Moreover, we constructed an effective competing risk nomogram for predicting their individual DSS for the first time.
Depression is a common disease which occurs after stroke, affecting approximately one third of stroke survivors at any 1 time after stroke (compared with 5%-13% of adults without stroke), with a cumulative incidence of 55%. Acupuncture, which has a long history in China, is the generic name of different kinds of acupuncture therapies, including manual acupuncture (MA), electroacupuncture (EA), fire needle (FN), dry needling (DN), and so on. Clinical studies have shown that acupuncture has a good therapeutic effect on post stroke depression (PSD), but the evidence-based medicine of it is insufficient. The purpose of this study is to systematically evaluate the efficacy of different kinds of acupuncture therapies in the treatment of PSD, and to provide evidence-based basis for the clinical application of acupuncture in the treatment of PSD.
A systematic search will be performed on English databases (PubMed, The Cochrane Library, Medline, Embase) and Chinese databases (China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), WanFang Data, VIP and Chinese biomedical databases). The retrieval time limit will be from the establishment of the database to August 2020. Two researchers will independently screen the literatures, extract data, and evaluate the quality of the included studies. Sotuletinib mouse Bayesian network analysis will be conducted by using STATA V.14.0 and ADDIS V.1.16.7.
In this study, the efficacy of different kinds of acupuncture therapies in the treatment of PSD will be evaluated by the degree of reduction in depression, total numbers of adverse events, quality of life indices, improvement of social and life functions and the expression of nerve cell factors.
This study will provide reliable evidence-based evidence for the clinical application of acupuncture in PSD.
This study will provide reliable evidence-based evidence for the clinical application of acupuncture in PSD.
Bronchial asthma (BA) is a chronic airway inflammatory disease with reversible airflow limitation as the main clinical manifestations, such as wheezing, cough, shortness of breath, chest tightness, etc, mediated by a variety of inflammatory cells, which can be recurrent. Clinical can improve symptoms, but cannot be cured; glucocorticoid is the most important first-line medication. Clinical practice has shown that montelukast sodium combined with fluticasone in the treatment of adult BA can improve clinical efficacy and reduce adverse reactions. The purpose of this study is to systematically study the efficacy and safety of montelukast sodium combined with fluticasone in the treatment of adult BA.
The Chinese databases (CNKI, VIP, Wanfang, Chinese Biomedical Database) and English databases (PubMed, the Cochrane Library, Embase, Web of Science) were searched by computer, for the randomized controlled clinical studies of montelukast sodium combined with fluticasone in the treatment of adult BA from establishment of database to October 2020. Two researchers independently extracted the relevant data and evaluated the quality of the literatures, and used RevMan5.3 software to conduct meta-analyze of the included literatures.
This study assessed the efficacy and safety of montelukast sodium combined with fluticasone in the treatment of adult BA through total effective rate, pulmonary function (FEV1, FVC, PEF, FEV1/FVC), and adverse reactions.
This study will provide reliable evidence-based evidence for the clinical application of montelukast sodium combined with fluticasone in the treatment of adult BA.

A femoral neck fracture (FNF) is one of the most destructive and familiar injuries encountered via the orthopedic surgeons. However, this is no guideline for the treatment of the Garden I hip fractures because the current evidence is limited from the poor study design and small sample size. The objective of our research is to compare the safety and effectiveness of the surgical treatment and conservative treatment in the non-displaced FNFs.
This is a randomized trial, which will be implemented from December 2020 to December 2021. The experiment was granted through the Research Ethics Committee of the Zhenhai District People's Hospital of Ningbo (2014005). Hundred patients meet inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria are included. Patients who are eligible for the following conditions will be included those over 75 years old with Garden I hip fractures diagnosed by CT or X-ray. Patients with the following conditions will be excluded patients age under 75 years old, the avascular necrosis of the femoral head, pathological fracture, infection, former symptomatic hip pathology, the history of hip fracture, as well as the lower limb deformity.
