The emerging paradigm of treat-to-target in psoriasis requires accurate monitoring of treatment response. A cohort study using repeated cross-sectional analysis of real-world longitudinal data was conducted at a large specialist psoriasis service serving London and Southeast England. A combination of landmarks and semi-landmarks captured the shape and curves of sampled crania. Principal components analysis (PCA) revealed clusters of shape categories, and agglomerative hierarchical cluster analysis quantified the spectrum of variation. Our methods found four categories of circumferential head shape annular erect, annular oblique, unmodified, and a new operational category termed slight. This last category was most prone to misclassification through gross inspection. We argue that differences in head shape are due to diverse modes of babywearing and childcare in the late prehistoric Andes. This study provides 3D geometric morphometric techniques that can help alleviate some of the classification errors that have long confounded practicing bioarchaeologists.Determination of the age of majority is of critical importance in forensic and legal practice. This study aimed to assess the mandibular third molar maturation stage in discriminating adults and minors in an Egyptian population sample using two methods Cameriere's third molar maturity index (I3M) and Demirjian's stage of maturation; further, the I3M cut-off value of less then 0.08 for age 18 years and older was tested. The study included 350 digital panoramic radiographs of 14-24 years old participants. The effectiveness of I3M less then 0.08 and Demirjian's stages were assessed using sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, post-test probability, positive likelihood ratio, and negative likelihood ratio. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were constructed to detect the overall effectiveness of I3M and Demirjian's stages to determine adults. I3M less then 0.08 showed accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, post-test probability, positive and negative likelihood ratios of 88.65%, 91.74%, 83.67%, 90.6%, 5.62 and 0.10 respectively in males, and 82.76%, 80.16%, 87.04%, 91.03%, 6.18 and 0.23 in females. Stage H showed the best specificity and post-test probability within Demirjian stages; 91.84% and 94.06% in males and 90.74% and 91.84% in females. Both I3M and Demirjian's stage H of the mandibular third molar were useful indicators for discriminating between Egyptian adults and minors. The cut-off value of I3M less then 0.0625 in males and I3M less then 0.104 in females showed a better discrimination performance than I3M less then 0.08 among Egyptians.2M-WS2 as a new phase of transition metal dichalcogenides possesses many novel physical properties, such as superconductivity and topological surface states. The effect of n-type doping on the superconductivity of this material has been studied. However, p-type doping has not been studied, because it is difficult to implement p-type doping in metastable 2M-WS2. In this paper, p-type doping was achieved in 2M-WS2 for the first time by using Mo. With the increase of the Mo content, the carrier concentration rises slightly from 1.42 × 1021 cm-1 to 1.56 × 1021 cm-1. Meanwhile, the superconducting transition temperature decreases monotonously with the increase of Mo doping and reaches a minimum value of 4.37 K at the doping limit of x = 0.6 in W1-xMoxS2. Combining the data of n-type doped 2M-WS2 from our previous research, we summarize the carrier concentration and superconducting transition temperature in a phase diagram, which shows a typical dome-like shape. These results uncover the relationship between the carrier concentration and electronic state of 2M-WS2.In this work, an innovative analytical approach focused on the use of advanced imaging techniques for the chemical mapping of degradation and/or restoration products is proposed. A representative cross-section showing a very complex stratigraphy from the Saint Wilgefortis Triptych (Hieronymus Bosch), exhibited in the Galleria dell'Accademia di Venezia, was investigated. Time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS) experiments were performed using a time-of-flight detector operating in the so-called delayed extraction mode. The time delay applied during the extraction of the secondary ions permitted mass spectra to be obtained with an excellent mass resolution and chemical maps with nanometer scale spatial resolution. The painting's cross-section was also analysed at the micrometer scale by micro-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (micro-FTIR). The combined analytical approaches highlighted the colocalization of lead chloride, oxychloride, and hydroxychloride ions, suggesting the transformation of lead white ((PbCO3)2Pb(OH)2) into laurionite (PbClOH).
