The COVID-19 pandemic is putting a huge strain on the provision and continuity of care. The length of sickness absence of the healthcare workers as a result of SARS-CoV-2 infection plays a pivotal role in hospital staff management. Therefore, the aim of this study was to explore the timing of COVID-19 recovery and viral clearance, and its predictive factors, in a large sample of healthcare workers.

This is a retrospective cohort study.

The analysis was conducted on data collected during the hospital health surveillance programme for healthcare staff at the University Hospital of Verona; healthcare workers were tested for SARS-CoV-2 through RT-PCR with oronasopharyngeal swab samples. The health surveillance programme targeted healthcare workers who either had close contact with SARS-CoV-2-infected patients or were tested as part of the screening-based strategy implemented according to national and regional requirements. Recovery time was estimated from the first positive swab to two consecutive negative h non-hospitalised healthcare workers in both analyses (33.5 vs 24 days, P=0.005).

This study aimed to determine the effect of several factors on the uptake of tetanus vaccination in pregnant women.

This is a systematic review and meta-analysis of the global literature.

The search strategy was carried out in the EMBASE and MEDLINE (Pubmed) databases, without language restrictions. The databases were searched from the beginning until May 2020. Fixed and random effect models were applied according to the methodological heterogeneity between the included studies. The I
test was performed to assess the magnitude of the heterogeneity. The results were presented as a grouped odds ratio (OR) with a 95% confidence interval (CI) and a significance level of 0.05.

The initial search strategy generated 14,349 original articles. In total, 31 studies metall inclusion criteria and 20 articles were included in the meta-analysis. The grouped and subgroup analyses showed a significant association between tetanus vaccination and the following factors higher number of prenatal visits (OR 2.00; 95% CI 1.17-3.42), higher maternal age (OR 1.24, 95% CI 1.02-1.50), being single (OR 1.41; 95% CI 1.20-1.65), professional vaccine guidance (OR 9.00; 95% CI 1.81-44.75) and uptake of influenza vaccine (OR 5.87; 95% CI 1.39-24.73).

The classification of pure vegetable oils was realised by principal component analysis - support vector machine (PCA-SVM) model. The absorption spectra, Raman spectra, fluorescence spectra and supercontinuum spectra of 8 kinds of pure vegetable oils were studied, and the effects of oil types and processing technology on spectral differences were analysed. The results showed that the fingerprint information of 4 kinds of spectral techniques mainly came from chlorophyll and β-carotene in vegetable oil. The extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) got by physical cold pressing technology had the most porphyrins and terpenoids content and the strongest activity. Health-related quality of life (HRQL) scores (Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) and Visual Analogic Scales (VAS)) and radiological assessment were performed preoperatively and postoperatively.
