Fitting a Cat Flap
It may seem difficult to put up the flap for your cat, but with the right instructions, it's not too difficult. First, decide how high you want the flap to be (on average, belly height). Mark this point on your door, and use the template provided to help you drill.

If you have a kitten, or a young kitten, prop the door open a bit and gradually push it to pass through. Reward it each time it goes through.

Measure the Door

A cat flap allows your pet to go in and out of your home at any time. This will keep your cat healthy as it ensures that it is exercising regularly and will also allow it to go back inside when it gets trapped outside in bad weather. You can install the cat flap yourself inside a wood or uPVC door when you're confident using the use of a jigsaw. Make sure you don't cut into any of the door's mullions or vertical rails.
