How to Repair Bifold Door Top Roller Guide

Take the door off

Once the old guide is removed, carefully cut through the remaining finish on the foot of the new guide using a sharp blade to remove it from the rod blank. This will make the guide foot easier to remove and will prevent any damage. The foot is very sharp, and it can cut or snag fingers.

It is possible to use some force to remove the guide, but you must be careful not to break or chip the foot.
