I'm right in the beginning stages of trying to transfer from Butte with my Associates in Arts Social and Behavioral Science to Chico State for next Semester that I got in May, and looking for the best way to go about that, and how to prepare for the meeting that I have on Wednesday, October 30th with transfer counselor Jenna Perez. I'm looking to make it as smooth as possible for them and be prepared, do you have any advice for that or where I should begin?

I haven't filled out any sort of application or transfer application to go from Butte to Chico State, so where should I start with that? I saw on the butte website the B to C guarantee, and was wondering if having the meeting with a Butte counselor next week is the best option & what I can do to prepare for that?

Check with school to see if online partially is allowed, it doesn't seem like it is but would have to talk about that.

you have to wait and hear back from Chico State for the earliest term.

If the goal is Chico, decide on major, submit on application request, (get the code), and then begin working on the Cal state application. (then send transcripts ex. butte records & if enrolled at butte)

then you'll setup student email and portal, as soon as your application is complete, then sign up for winter orientation.

chico state admissions office - Call the office of admission tomorrow, and ask for a late spring code for an online program. **if theyre not, and u wanna go in the fall, app by december 2nd*

Ideally I'd like to transfer and do online for the first year, and then hopefully when time at work clears up I'd be able to finish the last two semesters or so in person, is that possible?
- Is there something that I could declare my major as now on the application, like communications or media studies, where I'd be able to get the first 15 to 30 credits done and still be
able to apply those to multiple majors? As in like a few classes that I could complete that are applicable to multiple majors?

Also I heard a bit ago that Chico State was looking to add some more online degrees, do degrees have to be completed ALL online or ALL in person? Or could I, as previously mentioned,
do it partially online and partially in-person?
