In this work, a novel two-dimensional (2D) ultrathin metal-organic layer (MOL) based on the aggregation-induced emission (AIE) ligand H4ETTC (H4ETTC = 4',4''',4''''',4'''''''-(ethene-1,1,2,2-tetrayl)tetrakis(([1,1'-biphenyl]-4-carboxylic acid))) was developed and used to construct a novel electrochemiluminescence (ECL) aptasensor for ultrasensitive detection of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). The newly synthesized AIE luminogen (AIEgen)-based MOL (Hf-ETTC-MOL) yielded a higher ECL intensity and efficiency than did H4ETTC monomers, H4ETTC aggregates and 3D bulk Hf-ETTC-MOF. This improvement occurred not only because the ETTC ligands were coordinatively immobilized in a rigid MOL matrix, which restricted the intramolecular free rotation and vibration of these ligands and then reduced the non-radiative transition, but also because the porous ultrathin 2D MOL greatly shortened the transport distances of ions, electrons, coreactant (triethylamine, TEA) and coreactant intermediates (TEA˙ and TEA˙+), which made more ETTC luminophores able to be excited and yielded a high ECL efficiency. On the basis of using the Hf-ETTC-MOL as a novel ECL emitter and rolling circle amplification (RCA) as a signal amplification strategy, the constructed ECL aptasensor exhibited a linear range from 1 fg mL-1 to 1 ng mL-1 with a detection limit of 0.63 fg mL-1. This work has opened up new prospects for developing novel ECL materials and is expected to lead to increased interest in using AIEgen-based MOLs for ECL sensing.A simple and robust ultra-small four-color-fluorescence detection system was developed by integrating its components, namely, a four-capillary array, an injection-molded-plastic four-lens array, a four-dichroic-mirror array, and a CMOS sensor, as one device. The developed system was applied to a high-dynamic-range capillary-array electrophoresis (HiDy CE) to quantify a rare EGFR mutant (MT) of exon 19 deletion in a large excess of EGFR wild type (WT). Samples with serially diluted MT and constant-concentration WT were co-amplified by competitive PCR and subjected to HiDy CE. The MT peak in each electropherogram was then compared to the WT peak. As a result, MT was quantified with high-sensitivity (LOD of 0.004% MT/WT) and four-orders-of-magnitude dynamic range (0.01-100% MT/WT) by HiDy CE. Moreover, compared with existing methods, HiDy CE achieves higher speed, higher sample throughput, and lower consumable cost per sample. It has therefore great potential to be used in clinical practice. There is great interest in developing surfaces with enhanced properties for the sliding of liquid droplets. Here we show that both water and oil droplets placed on mesoporous thin film surfaces slide at relatively small tilt angles with respect to non-porous surfaces of the same material. Cell Cycle chemical The effect arises from a particular soft pinning at the contact line, which is a consequence of the fact that sessile droplets are partially "floating" onto a locally self-imbibed mesoporous film. Therefore, droplets present a reduced sliding angle and an enhanced sliding velocity in comparison to droplets on non-porous surfaces of the same material. The formed droplet-substrate interface is different to those observed on superhydrophobic or oil-infused surfaces, and involves a particular sliding dynamic. These findings would help to improve technical developments that require the precise handling of droplet mobility, whose interest span from chemical and biological assays in open microfluidic platforms to applications in energy and the environment. The standard model (SM) production of four top quarks ( t t ¯ t t ¯ ) in proton-proton collisions is studied by the CMS Collaboration. The data sample, collected during the 2016-2018 data taking of the LHC, corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 137 fb - 1 at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV . The events are required to contain two same-sign charged leptons (electrons or muons) or at least three leptons, and jets. The observed and expected significances for the t t ¯ t t ¯ signal are respectively 2.6 and 2.7 standard deviations, and the t t ¯ t t ¯ cross section is measured to be 12 . 6 - 5.2 + 5.8 fb . The results are used to constrain the Yukawa coupling of the top quark to the Higgs boson, y t , yielding a limit of | y t / y t SM | less then 1.7 at 95 % confidence level, where y t SM is the SM value of y t . They are also used to constrain the oblique parameter of the Higgs boson in an effective field theory framework, H ^ less then 0.12 . Limits are set on the production of a heavy scalar or pseudoscalar boson in Type-II two-Higgs-doublet and simplified dark matter models, with exclusion limits reaching 350-470 GeV and 350-550 GeV for scalar and pseudoscalar bosons, respectively. Upper bounds are also set on couplings of the top quark to new light particles. © CERN for the benefit of the CMS collaboration 2020.[This corrects the article DOI 10.1371/journal.pone.0228192.].[This corrects the article DOI 10.1371/journal.pone.0227668.].[This corrects the article DOI 10.1371/journal.pone.0223350.].[This corrects the article DOI 10.1371/journal.pone.0223935.].The purpose of the study is to reduce the error in the pricing process of financial derivatives, as well as to obtain more accurate product values, thereby reducing transaction costs, accelerating transaction speed, establishing a larger investment scale, and enabling investors to obtain excellent returns under market conditions as much as possible. Based on the variance reduction technology, a Monte Carlo model that can effectively analyze financial prices is added to analyze price fluctuations and find the optimal holding time for users of financial derivatives, thereby reducing the risk of holding the financial derivatives. The results show that the Monte Carlo model-based variance reduction technology can significantly improve the simulation efficiency of financial derivatives pricing. In addition, the importance sampling method is used to optimize the selection, thereby making it closer to the theoretical values. The proposed method is easy to implement and has higher computational efficiency, which can ensure the financial benefits of users holding financial derivatives during the holding period.
