Instead, the corrosion resistance of a composite in the 3.5% of NaCl. Solution was explored via EIS spectra and potentio-dynamic polarization. Depending on the observed features, it indicates that the [EDA-OPDA]Al@Zn framework provided fantastic corrosion resistance. So it is obvious that the as-synthesized framework is of multitasking, that it could be successfully performed for the exclusion of MB aqueous dye and PAR drug from the aqueous medium and it also withstands effectively in this corrosive medium.Nitrogen oxides (NOx), including nitrogen monoxide (NO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2), are among the most important global atmospheric pollutants because they have a negative impact on human respiratory health, animals, and the environment through the greenhouse effect and ozone layer destruction. NOx compounds are predominantly generated by anthropogenic activities, which involve combustion processes such as energy production, transportation, and industrial activities. The most widely used alternatives for NOx abatement on an industrial scale are selective catalytic and non-catalytic reductions; however, these alternatives have high costs when treating large air flows with low pollutant concentrations, and most of these methods generate residues that require further treatment. Therefore, biotechnologies that are normally used for wastewater treatment (based on nitrification, denitrification, anammox, microalgae, and combinations of these) are being investigated for flue gas treatment. Most of such investigations have focused on chemical absorption and biological reduction (CABR) systems using different equipment configurations, such as biofilters, rotating reactors, or membrane reactors. This review summarizes the current state of these biotechnologies available for NOx treatment, discusses and compares the use of different microorganisms, and analyzes the experimental performance of bioreactors used for NOx emission control, both at the laboratory scale and in industrial settings, to provide an overview of proven technical solutions and biotechnologies for NOx treatment. Additionally, a comparative assessment of the advantages and disadvantages is performed, and special challenges for biological technologies for NO abatement are presented.River cascade development is one of the human activities that have the most significant impact on the water environment. However, the mechanism of cascade development affecting river hydrochemical components still needs to be further studied. In this study, water quality index(WQI), positive matrix factorization(PMF) model and multivariate statistical techniques were used to identify the mechanism of cascade development affecting river hydrochemical components in an typical cascade development Rivers, Lancang River, China. The results showed that the water quality of Lancang River is relatively good due to less affected by human activity. The spatial variation of river hydrochemistry is affected by the development of cascade reservoirs, and shows three patterns irregular variation (pH and DO), fluctuating decreasing (Na+, Cl-, SO42- and HCO3-) and multi-peak variation (TN, TDN, NO3--N and NH4+-N). It's worth noting that the concentration of the most hydrochemical parameters is higher in the upper reaches (less human activities) than that in the middle and lower reaches of river due to the retention effect of the reservoir on the chemical composition. The PMF model outputs revealed that the rock weathering and internal source, sewage and soil nitrogen, and chemical fertilizer were primary material sources of Lancang River. Compared with the natural channel zone (41.0%), the interaction of water-rock has more influence on chemical component in the reservoir area (56.3%), while the contribution of fertilizer (11.2%) to the river hydrochemistry is less. The sites of downstream of the reservoir dam were affected by the retention of the reservoir and the disturbance of the bottom drainage, which leads to the weakening of the influence of the sewage (44.7%) on the river material and the increase of the contribution of fertilizer (25.0%). These results could provide valuable information in controlling the eutrophication of cascade reservoirs and the scientific construction of river cascade reservoirs. In this study, zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIF) were employed as effective porous supports for laccase enzyme attachment and further explored synergistic adsorption and biocatalytic degradation of carbamazepine (CBZ) in aqueous solutions. Characterization results from FTIR and NMR analysis confirmed successful incorporation of the laccase enzyme onto ZIF particles. Further analyses from SEM and TEM revealed rhombic dodecahedral morphologies of ZIF crystals with crusts of the enzyme observed on the particles' surface. The carbamazepine degradation results showed that immobilization of the laccase improved its stability and resistance at various pH's, in comparison to the free enzyme. The immobilized laccase also exhibited relatively higher activities across the studied temperature range compared to the free form. Kinetic studies revealed a negligible decline in velocity, Vmax after immobilization, evaluated to be 0.873 and 0.692 mg L-1 h-1 for the free and immobilized laccase, respectively. Tofacitinib The immobilized laccase demonstrated improved stabilities towards organic solvents, which qualifies the composite's application in real wastewater samples. In which case, the laccase-ZIF composite proved effective in CBZ decontamination with an efficiency of ∼92%. Furthermore, the immobilized laccase exhibited appreciable storage stabilities (∼70% residual activity) for up to 15 days before any significant loss in activity.Black phosphorus nanosheets (BPNSs) are a new member of the nanomaterial family, and they have good development potential in electrochemistry, electronics, optoelectronics, environmental protection, biomedical, and other fields because of their bandgap width, high anisotropy, broad optical absorption, high carrier mobility and many other features. Although many articles have been published about the preparation and application of BPNSs, these aspects have not been elucidated, and we aimed to fill this knowledge gap in this review. First, we used VOSviewer software to sort out articles published in the past 5 years and drew a literature map, which allowed us to sort out the relationship between various studies related to BPNSs, and reflect on the research focus in recent years. Because BPNSs must be made from black phosphorus (BP), and BPNSs are a nano form of BP, the collation of the BP preparation scheme was also helpful for the related research on BPNSs. This paper introduces the preparation of bulk BP and BPNSs, analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of each method, and points out the most promising methods in the future. Then, we propose improvement directions for this method. We also introduce the characterization of BPNSs and combine it with the subsequent photocatalytic application of BPNSs. As a new material, the effect of BPNSs on the environment is still unknown; thus, an end treatment scheme for BPNSs is summarized according to existing methods. Based on the experience of nanomaterial treatment, this paper proposes a research focus for the end treatment of BPNSs in the future, providing a reference scheme for the end treatment of other nanomaterials. Finally, we summarize the full text and propose recommended methods and improvement plans.Nitazoxanide (NTZ), a promising antiviral agent, is currently being tested in clinical trials as a potential treatment for novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID -19). This paper describes a one-pot hydrothermal synthesis to prepare molybdenum (Mo)-doped manganese tungstate nanocubes (Mo-MnWO4 NCs) for the electrochemical sensing of NTZ. The as-prepared Mo-MnWO4 NCs were characterized using various techniques such as XRD, Raman, FE-SEM, FE-TEM, and XPS to confirm the crystal structure, morphology, and elemental composition. The obtained results demonstrate that Mo doping on MnWO4 generates many vacancy sites, exhibiting remarkable electrochemical activity. The kinetic parameters of the electrode modified with Mo-MnWO4 NCs were calculated to be (Ks) 1.1 × 10-2 cm2 s-1 and (α) 0.97, respectively. Moreover, a novel electrochemical sensor using Mo-MnWO4 NCs was fabricated to detect NTZ, which is used as a primary antibiotic to control COVID-19. Under optimal conditions, the electrochemical reduction of NTZ was determined with a low detection limit of 3.7 nM for a linear range of 0.014-170.2 μM with a high sensitivity of 0.78 μA μM-1 cm-2 and negligible interference with other nitro group-containing drugs, cations, and anions. The electrochemical sensor was successfully used to detect NTZ in the blood serum and urine samples and achieved high recoveries in the range of 94-99.2% and 95.3-99.6%, respectively. This work opens a way to develop high-performance sensing materials by exploring the introduction of defect engineering on metal tungstates to detect drug molecules for practical applications. The incidence of thyroid cancer (TC), especially papillary thyroid cancer (PTC), has dramatically increased globally. Whereas some endocrine disruptors have been linked to neoplastic processes, the associations between human exposure to bisphenol analogs and the risk of TC remain unclear. This present case-control study examined the associations between the urinary concentrations of bisphenol A (BPA) and other bisphenols, namely bisphenol F (BPF) and bisphenol S (BPS), and the risk of PTC. After adjusting for confounders and creatinine standardization, significantly positive associations were observed for BPF (odds ratio [OR] = 1.80, 95% confidence interval [CI] = 1.27-2.54), but negative associations observed for BPA (OR = 0.38, 95% CI = 0.19-0.77) and BPS (OR = 0.63, 95% CI = 0.43-0.93), in the total population. However, after stratification by age and smoking, statistical significance was retained only in non-smoking women, suggesting the adverse effects of BPF exposure on PTC risk, especially in women. These findings require replication and confirmation in further research.Completely loss of granular structural stability and reliable start-up of aerobic granular sludge (AGS) system are considered as the biggest challenges for its engineering application under seasonal temperature variation, especially extremely low temperatures. In this study, two identical sequencing batch reactors (SBR) were successfully start-up at 10 °C (R1) and 25 °C (R2), respectively, and then operated under a strategy of stepwise change of temperatures to investigate the stability of the granular sludge by examining its microbial characteristics, bis (3'-5')-cyclic dimeric guanosine monophosphate (c-di-GMP), extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) and sludge physiochemical properties. The results showed that AGS formed under the low temperature preferentially secrete EPS and c-di-GMP for stable granulation and improvement of its resistance to temperature changes. Meanwhile, R1 successfully obtained aerobic granulation with high biomass concentration and superior settleability, as well as high pollutant removal performance.
