Types of Door Latches
Latches are crafted in various materials, finishes and thicknesses to meet specific engineering specifications. For instance, engineers may select a galvanized latch to prevent corrosion and maintain the durability even in harsh environments.
Other specifications cover the security level required for a particular application. A hook lock latch , for example, is more secure than hasps, and may require a padlock.
Hook and Eye Latch
The hook and eye latch is an easy-to-install way to lock gates windows, doors, cabinets and sheds. It's also ideal for securing storm panels, porches and screens.
