L4V Hook Deadlocks
L4V hook deadlocks are an upgrade for front and side van doors, as well as tailgates and doors for cabs. They are independent of the manufacturer's locking system and secured by a high security key.
This product, designed to ward off 'peel-and-steal' attack It has been tested by an independent lab and has the potential to increase resistance by as much as 300%. It is perfect for multi-drop couriers as well as applications where the driver might forget to lock the door of their vehicle.
Hook Deadlock
A hook deadlock is a lock that can be hung on the door of a vehicle. It functions independently of the locking mechanism. It is operated with keys and provides an extra layer of security that can prevent "Peel and Steal" crimes. These locks are affordable and can make your vehicle less attractive to criminals. They aren't foolproof, and should be paired with other van security items such as Anti Peel brackets.
Each lock is a customized version of the standard deadlocks, and is specifically designed to be compatible with the specific make and model of the doors of the vehicle. They work by throwing an a-hook style bolt into a bracket that is attached to the internal bodywork of the vehicle. The bolt hooks over and is secured to the receiver bracket, preventing it from being cut open or bent down. This gives a high amount of protection from the majority of burglaries that occur on vans.
These locks are easy-to-install and can be fitted to both the cab doors and rear load area. They also look more attractive than van locks that are fitted externally, with a neat euro-cylinder on the exterior and an escutcheon around it.
As opposed to van hook lock fitting locking device, which is a quick release device, these locks can be used in deadlock mode, making it more difficult for thieves to rob your tools and valuables. Deadlocks are better suited for people who don't need to access their van frequently and want a higher level of security.
These are the most sought-after of our hook locks. They are usually placed on back and cab doors. These locks are an excellent method to secure your tools and valuables from theft. They can also be combined with other van security accessories like anti-peel brackets. We offer an all-encompassing fitting service and our fitters are all fully trained and insured. Complete our online form and we will contact you with more information.
Slam Lock
A slamlock is a security solution that locks the doors of your vehicle as soon as you close them. This means that thieves will not be able to capitalize on any lapses made by a motorist who fails to close the door of their van manually in the midst of a rush and also serve as a deterrent to anyone who might be tempted to steal.
A commercial slam lock works by integrating with your existing van manufacturer's locks to lock the door each time it is closed. This is a great option for couriers and multi-drop drivers who are often on the go and have a lot to do. It will save them from the need to use keys to lock their vehicle every time.
After installing a slamlock, you simply need to press the handle, which will turn off and close the door. You can then open the door with your key, which means you can keep your cargo and tools safe while on the job. However, if you are looking for the ultimate in van security, you should consider a deadlock as well. They provide a higher degree of security, since they are more difficult to control and require more physical effort to open.
Both locks have advantages The best lock for you will depend on how you will be using your vehicle. A slamlock is the best choice for those who use the rear of their vans frequently, such as couriers or multi-drop drivers. They are more concerned about securing their goods on the move. A deadlock is perfect for those who leave their vans parked for a long period of time and require a secure lock.
Garrison Locks stocks a wide variety of deadlocks and Slam locks for all van models and makes. Contact us today to find out more about how our team of experts can help you choose the best van security solution to meet your needs.
Statement Lock
The lock can be mounted externally to the doors of commercial vehicles. It can be used in conjunction with other anti-theft devices, and is independent of the locking system that is provided by the manufacturer.
The LOCK TABLE statement generates shared locks on all tables that are referenced in the table specification. If there is a viewtable specified and the lock is created, it creates shared locking on all basetables that are underneath the viewtable. The LOCK table command is used for locking all tables in a specific database, a particular row, or a specific table. If only the table name is specified after the table's name, then only the table specified will be locked. If it is a row_spec> is set, only the row in the table indicated by the key values or location in the results table is locked.
A ROW-EXCLUSIVE locks prevents simultaneous data modifications from altering and deleting rows from the table. This lock mode is obtained by UPDATE and DELETE statements and also INSERT, Merge, or Vacuum statements. It also is acquired by ANALYZE CREATE INDEX CONCURRENTLY and certain ALTER TABLE or ALTER VIEW statements.
When a locked ROW EXCLUSIVE is in place the updates and deletes must complete before the owner of the lock can release the lock. This prevents a deadlock from happening during concurrent sessions that modify the same row.
If an operation is using an ROW EXCLUSIVE mode lock and another session attempts to update the same row, the first session is hit with a duplicate-key error. The other session has to wait until the current transaction is committed or rolls back, and then will be able to acquire the ROW SHARE lock on the row to continue the process.
The locking mode of ROWSHARED is obtained by using the UPDATE, DELETE and MERGE statements. It is also acquired by ANALYZE CREATE STATISTICS and COMMENT on statements. This lock mode guards a table against simultaneous schema changes and VACUUM runs.
The LOCK TABLUE WITH HOLD clause allows you to block an execution on a procedure for a specific period of time. If another program attempts to run the same protocol on the same connection, the program will be stopped until the lock on execution is removed.
Anti Peel Kit
The 'peel and steal' attack is now a common method for thieves to break into vans using force to prise open the doors on the sides of the vehicle. This kind of attack involves the use of pressure and weight to weak points in your van's door to pull it back. This allows them access to equipment and tools stored in the cargo area. There are some solutions to this issue, such as the L4V Anti-Peel Kit. This armoured bracket increases the strength of your side-load doors against this type of attack. Independent testing has shown that it can increase your van doors' strength by up to 300 percent.
Designed to be able to be fitted easily and securely to the door skin of your van, the anti-peel kits are constructed from sturdy materials that are able to endure repeated attacks. They can be used either as a standalone security measure or with other security measures, such as hook locks. When combined the physical security provided by the anti-peel kits and the additional security provided by a hook lock make it extremely difficult for thieves to gain entry into your van.
The product is an updated version dubbed the L4V Anti-Peel High Hook Lock Combination. It includes both an anti-peel locking device and hook lock onto a high-mounted plate. It's a great solution to decrease the chance that vans will be stolen through 'peel and steal' attacks.
At All Locked Up Safe, we offer and professionally install an extensive range of van door locks that will help you safeguard your equipment and tools from theft.
