T. ammonigenes is an obligate chemolithoautotroph utilizing elemental sulfur as an electron donor and nitrate as an electron acceptor with sulfate and ammonium formation. It also is able to grow by disproportionation of elemental sulfur, thiosulfate and sulfite. Here, we present the complete genome sequence of strain ST65T. The genome consists of a single chromosome of 2,287,345 base pairs in size and has a G + C content of 51.9 mol%. The genome encodes 2172 proteins, 48 tRNA genes, and 3 rRNA genes. Genome analysis revealed a complete set of genes essential to CO2 fixation and gluconeogenesis. Homologs of genes encoding known enzyme systems for nitrate ammonification are absent in the genome of T. ammonigenes assuming unique mechanism for this pathway. The genome of strain ST65T encodes a complete set of genes necessary for dissimilatory sulfate reduction, which are probably involved in sulfur disproportionation and anaerobic oxidation. This is the first reported genome of a bacterium from the genus Thermosulfuriphilus, providing insights into the microbial contribution into carbon, sulfur and nitrogen cycles in the deep-sea hydrothermal vent environment.Faithful analysis of transcripts represents a critical component of the gene discovery, genomic characterization and annotation process in species without a reference genome. The present study generated 28,001 full-length transcripts of Misgurnus anguillicaudatus using the Pacific Bioscience (PacBio) single-molecule real-time (SMRT) sequencing system. A total of 77,346 consensus isoforms were identified, and 18,991 complete open reading frames (ORFs) detected. In total, 1345 lncRNAs were identified with high-confidence, with additional identification of a number of well-known transcription factors. The SOP uses the Nutrition Care Process and clinical workflow elements for care of individuals with an ID or DD. The SOPP describes 6 domains that focus on professionalism. Indicators outlined in the SOP and SOPP depict how these standards apply to practice. The SOP and SOPP are complementary resources for RDNs caring for individuals with an ID or DD. The SOP and SOPP are intended to be used by RDNs for self-evaluation to assure competent practice and for determining potential education and training needs for advancement to a higher practice level in a variety of settings.
Food group and nutrient priorities for Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Food Package IV for children aged 2 to 4 years were described in the 2017 review of the WIC Food Package. Research has evaluated priority nutrient intake, but priority food group intake remains unknown.

To compare mean intake of priority food groups/subgroups of WIC children to WIC-eligible nonparticipants and higher income children. Further, we hoped to assess differences in percent contribution of food subgroups to total food group intake by WIC participation status and income.

Cross-sectional study conducted using data from the 2011-14 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.

One thousand forty-seven children aged 2 to 4 years.

Mean intake reported in cup equivalents and ounce equivalents. We also looked at mean percent that food subgroups contributed to total intake within a food group. Analyses were performed for high and low priority food groups/subgroups high= seafood, observed for dairy or protein subgroups.

Among low-income children, participation in WIC was associated with greater intake of certain vegetables. Participation in WIC may also help close the diet quality gap between low-income and higher income children for priority foods targeted by the WIC food package. Future research should explore socioeconomic disparities in intake of nutrient-poor foods.

We report the clinicopathological and prognostic features of appendicular osteosarcomas diagnosed in 153 dogs from 2008 to 2018. The survival data for 22 dogs that underwent surgery and chemotherapy were statistically compared with the clinical, histopathological and immunohistochemical data for correlation with prognosis. The affected dogs had a mean age of 9.1 years and a mean body weight of 33.4 kg. No sex predilection was detected, although the incidence was slightly higher in females (52%). Large mixed and purebred dogs were most commonly affected. Long bones were affected in 124 cases (92.5%; 124/134). The extremities affected within long bones were the metaphysis of the proximal humerus (29%), distal radius (17.7%), distal femur (15.3%) and proximal tibia (7.2%).
