ADHD Diagnostic Assessment
A health professional who is trained typically a psychiatrist or psychologist, will diagnose ADHD. Rating scales and neuropsychological tests are used in the evaluation.

This is consistent with other studies that suggest that multifactorial models could be crucial in the cause of ADHD and that frontal lobe function may be a common deficiency. The fact that the ADHD group and the clinical comparison groups showed similar cognitive performance is in the same vein as previous behavioral and imaging data that have shown that frontal lobe function is common among the general population of patients with psychiatric disorders.
Medical Evaluation
