Secondary Normal-Pressure Hydrocephalus inside Rheumatoid Meningitis.
16 patients (12.8%) required pharmacological concomitant treatment. 59 patients (47.2%) developed side effects. Transient eyelid ptosis and facial weakness were the most common.

The structural origin of a significant number of cases of HFS makes essential to complete an etiological diagnosis in all patients. In addition, the existence of a secondary cause could be associated with greater doses of BTX-A to achieve a good response. Regardless the etiology, long-term treatment with BTX-A in HFS is safe and effective.

In this paper, we use our coarse-grained molecular model of CNC to study the effect of length and orientation distribution and attractions between CNCs on the mechanical properties of neat CNCs. The effect of misalignment of a 2D staggered structure of CNC with respect to the loading direction was studied with simulations and analytical solutions and then verified with experiments. To understand the effect of FLD and FOD on the mechanical performance, various 3D microstructures representing different case studies such as highly aligned, randomly distributed, short length CNCs and long length CNCs were generated and simulated. According to the misalignment study, three different failure modes sliding mode, mixed mode, and normal mode were defined. Also, comparing the effects of FOD, FLD, and CNC interaction strength, shows that the adhesion strength is the only parameter that can significantly improve the mechanical properties, regardless of loading direction or FOD of CNCs.The aim of the present paper is to study the stresses and strains in fillings of V-shaped tooth defects made of universal photo-cured nanohybrid composite (UPC) using incremental technique. Numerical modeling with FEA and microleakage test are performed. Inhomogeneous distribution of the equivalent Von Mises stresses after polymerization of the two UPC layers is found, as the maximal value after polymerization of the first layer is 1.5 times lower compared to that of second one. In the first layer, maximum stresses are concentrated on dentin surface in cervical region of the obturation border and in occlusal region of the obturation volume. In the second layer, maximum stresses are generated in cervical area of the obturation volume and on dentin surface occlusally along the obturation border. The displacement after polymerization of each layer is inhomogeneous, as its values are more than 2 times smaller compared to that in fillings of glass-ionomer cement and flowable composite. In the first layer, the displacement is maximal on surface in the cervical region, while in the second layer it is maximal on surface occlusal of the obturation. The adequacy of the model used is confirmed by the microleakage test results. It is proven that UPC is better choice for filling of V-shaped defects due to the lower microleakage.
While high-sensitivity (hs) troponin (cTn) has been associated with shorter emergency department (ED) length of stay (LOS) and decreased hospital admissions outside the United States (US), concerns have been raised that it will have opposite effects in the US. In this study, we aimed to compare ED LOS, admissions, and acute coronary syndrome (ACS) diagnoses before and after the implementation of hs-cTn.

We conducted a single-institution, retrospective study of two temporally matched six-month study periods before and after the implementation of hs-cTn. We included consecutive adults presenting with chest pain. The primary outcome was ED LOS, which was log transformed and analyzed using multiple linear regression. Binary secondary outcomes of admissions, cardiac testing, cardiology consultation, and ACS diagnoses were analyzed using multiple logistic regression.

We studied 1589 visits before and 1616 visits after implementation of hs-cTn. Median age and sex ratios were similar between study periods. Mediecreased admissions, and no substantial change in cardiac risk stratification testing, cardiology consultation, or ACS diagnoses. The current study was conducted to evaluate the effect of dietary camphor levels as a medicinal feed additive to improve semen quality, antioxidant capacity, reproductive hormones, and reproduction performance in roosters. For this purpose, thirty-five 29-wk-old Ross 308 broiler breeder roosters randomly were assigned to five experimental groups (seven birds/group) and received five doses of camphor containing 0, 50, 250, 750, and 1000 mg camphor/kg of feed for 12 wk consecutive. Semen quality parameters and motion characteristics of sperm were evaluated every 28 days and semen antioxidant capacity and plasma reproductive hormones concentration were tested at the end of the experiment. Also, at the end of the experiment, reproductive performance was assessed using artificial insemination. Among seminal quality parameters, sperm forward motility (88.96 vs 82.56%) and percentage of abnormal sperm (14.75 vs 15.86%) were improved in roosters fed 50 mg camphor/kg of feed compared to the control group (P 0.05). In the artificial insemination, fertility rate from both 50 mg camphor/kg of feed (88%) and 250 mg camphor/kg of feed (84%) was higher than control (75%) (P less then 0.05). In conclusion, low levels of camphor, especially 50 mg camphor/kg of feed, improved seminal characteristics and, reproductive performance of roosters. Further researches are needed on the effect of higher levels of camphor and divulge of underlying mechanism on male's reproductive function.Human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) lines have been derived from four male patients with childhood attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Children and adolescents between the ages 6 and 18 suffering from ADHD were recruited for this work. Isolated keratinocytes or peripheral blood mononuclear cells from the participants were reprogrammed into iPSCs using non-integrating Sendai virus to deliver the reprogramming factors Oct3/4, Sox2, Klf4 and c-Myc.
