Antibiotic residues in food pose a major threat to the health of humans and animals worldwide. Their trace-level analysis is still too time- and cost-intensive to be adequately covered in routine analysis. Thus, a new high-throughput planar solid-phase extraction method has been developed for rapid screening of 66 antibiotics. Via simple clicks on the image, the autoTLC-MS interface automatically eluted the target analyte zones directly into an orbitrap high-resolution mass spectrometer operated in the variable data-independent acquisition mode. Purified polyclonal antibodies against a specific buffalo's milk protein fraction were conjugated to CNPs and sprayed on a conjugate pad. The test line consisted of buffalo's skimmed milk proteins (1.6 μg/cm), while the control line contained anti-rabbit antibodies raised in goat (0.5 μg/cm). In the test procedure milk sample is mixed with 100 mM borate buffer (pH 8.8 containing 1% BSA and 0.05% Tween 20) and pipetted onto the sample-cum-conjugate pad. A black/grey test line can be observed if the sample is free from buffalo's milk. The sensitivity of the test i.e. no visible test line is 5% adulteration of cow's milk with buffalo's milk. The test has applicability at the milk receiving stations and can be applied to heated milk samples.Autobiographical memory research typically focuses on individual memories with variability in individual participants' responses serving as error variance. Integrating individual-difference and experimental approaches demonstrated that properties of autobiographical memories are stable individual differences with stable patterns of correlations. In two sessions approximately one week apart, different cues were used to prompt seven autobiographical memories. Each memory was rated on 12 properties including visual imagery, emotional intensity, narrative coherence, reliving, and past rehearsals. In two studies with samples from different populations (Ns of 200 and 160), each property had a high reliability in both sessions (median α = .90), and the mean of each property averaged over seven memories correlated highly with itself over sessions (median r = .72). Multiple regressions predicting three properties from Session 1 with the remaining nine properties of Session 2 and exploratory factor analyses yielded solutions consistent with expectations from studies of individual memories. Moreover, the correlation matrices of the 12 properties across studies and sessions were extremely similar. Thus, separate sessions, cues, samples, and properties provided generalizable data about individual differences in autobiographical memory. Practical, theoretical, and methodological implications include that individual differences in memory affect life stories and narrative structure internal to events, stable clinical syndromes and symptoms, experimental results previously attributed to the properties of individual memories, and the confidence people have in the accuracy of their autobiographical and episodic memories.

The aim of this study was to characterize clinically, etiologically, and electroencephalographically focal Nonconvulsive Status Epilepticus (NCSE) in children. Moreover, we tried to identify focal NCSE features distinguishing between different ages, NCSE etiologies, and cases of de novo onset.

We retrospectively identified patients (aged 1 month to 18 years) who had EEG-documented focal NCSE between January 2001 and December 2019. We analyzed the clinical features, etiology, and EEG features of each event.

Thirty-eight patients were included in this study. NCSE had a de novo onset in 26 patients and was the first manifestation of previously undiagnosed epilepsy in 12 patients. NCSE etiology was acute symptomatic in 13 patients. Acute symptomatic NCSE events were mainly observed in hospitalized children, were usually longer, and had a significantly higher frequency of repetitive EEG patterns than other etiologies. In patients with epilepsy, the etiology of NCSE was remote symptomatic in 14, progressive in 6, and cryptogenic in 5; a definite or suspected genetic disorder was observed in 11.
