I spend a lot of time swimming. In fact at JIS, I do three sessions a week and often at weekends. I have won medals for it at swim meets. I am very exited to join the UWC dragons. When I was in UWCSEA I played the Gamelan. My instrument was the Bonang. I have continued being in the Gamelan orchestra in Indonesia, where of course the Gamelan came from. I play 2 hrs a week. I enjoy playing backgammon with my father, which is has taught me probability. I also enjoy reading books, my favourite author is David Walliams because his books all ways make me laugh. I also like the Harry Potter Series. I love to go rock climbing with my dad and sister.
WHY I WANT TO GO TO UWCSEA
I want to go to UWCSEA because I will be able to meet up with my old friends. My teacher, Mrs. Walker was very nice and helped me a lot. There is lot's of room to play and plenty of things to do at recess and snack. The UWC library is the best I've ever. I enjoyed the visiting authors that visited. . I will all so be able to learn new things that I've never learned before. I am very exited to go to a middle school because I get to learn in more detail and get to take my own computer home! I will try and get a part in the school play because at JIS I missed the additions. At JIS there is no service learning, now at UWC I will be able to. I also will be able to speak new languages like French and other languages.
