For many years, the Brazilian hay production scientific knowledge had been based on temperate climate species, even though the best hay material are tropical grasses, as Tifton 85 Bermudagrass. Researches that focused on the comprehension of yield systems, biochemical processes, physiology, composition, and nutritional quality of tropical species under dehydration and conservation have become important to hay yield in Brazil. Therefore, this literature review aimed to discuss the hay research contribution in tropical conditions and its reflex on the production and commercialization of hay in Brazil. This review was based on database research with key-words defined in a period between 1960 and 2021, which resulted in 33 articles. Each article had the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities, and threats classified according to the SWOT matrix. Articles related to the haymaking system with tropical forage and the effects on nutritional value, sanitary quality, and factors that influence the dehydration period in the field and storage were listed in this paper. Based on the literature, the conclusion is that Brazil has elevated hay yield potential with high nutritional and sanitary quality of tropical species due to the weather conditions that allow fast dehydration and, also, the availability of residual wastewater as fertilization and machinery appropriated. Brazilian haymaking and commercialization are in an expansion process with economic return as national and international trade. Further challenges to obtain a constant annual hay supply and the transport viability to markets distant from the production center.The adoption of physical distancing and quarantine amid the COVID-19 pandemic to contain virus spread has left the world with schools' closure. In response, schools have shifted into online learning in developed societies while the developing world struggles to opt for online learning due to limited infrastructure and capacity and religious beliefs, in some communities, that discourage online learning. However, there has been a significant increase in the use of Social Media (SM) observed across developing and developed societies and religious communities amid physical distancing. This study was conducted to explore the possibility of SM use in online learning by exploring teachers' attitudes in relation to the effects of physical distancing and increased SM use, SM knowledge and religious leaders' SM use. In a quantitative investigation method, the researchers used a questionnaire as a primary tool to collect the data from 252 teachers of both public and private schools. Partial Least Square Structural Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used as an analysis method to assess and measure the proposed model. The outbreak of COVID-19, a profoundly contagious disease has unnerved the world in a calamitous manner from diverse aspects. The present study ventures to expand the literature by exploring loneliness, social isolation, risk perception, financial distress, and psychological distress amidst the lockdown phase of the general population of Bangladesh.

Through an online survey among 474 respondents (between April 17th and April 23rd, 2020), data were collected from the Bangladeshi residents (21 years or above). Descriptive and inferential statistical analyses were conducted using IBM Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) and Warp-PLS.

Findings suggest a strong positive correlation among the factors and social isolation, risk perception, financial distress are manifested as the predictors of psychological distress. Besides, females, aged people, and lower-income group are found to be more psychologically distressed.

This study yields new insights into the psychological facets of a lower-middle-income earning country, Bangladesh.Understanding the role of soils in the soil organic carbon (SOC) and total nitrogen (TN) cycle is essential, assumed that these parameters are among the key soil quality indicators in a given landscape. Nothing but their status is in a state of continual flux due to land-use, soil management practices, and nature of topographic features. Thus, this study has evaluated the effect of land-use types and altitudinal gradient on SOC and TN concentrations and stocks at a watershed scale in northern Ethiopia. A total of 450 topsoil samples (0-30 cm depth) were collected from four different land-use types (Fig.3) across three elevational categories (Fig.1(b)), and their SOC and TN distributions were studied using descriptive statistics and geostatistical methods. Results revealed significant (p BL in middle elevation, and GL˃CL in lower elevation, respectively. The estimated total SOC and TN stocks of the study watershed were about 46,868.66 ± 7747.38 Mg C and 7,008.02 ± 441.25 Mg N, respectively. The notable difference is attributable to lack of vegetation cover, unsustainable land-use system, and land degradation via water erosion. Hence, these physical landscape disturbances result in disruption of SOC and TN's storage and stability. The SOC and TN stocks have shown a significant (p less then 0.05) negative correlation with soil bulk density in the study watershed. The study concludes that variations in the land-use along topographic gradients drive the soils' SOC and TN storage. Therefore, land suitability planning, soil and water conservation measures, and reforestation practices are needed and practical worth increasing SOC and TN storage in the watershed.
