Lymphomas are the most frequent neoplasm of the orbit. However, the epidemiology of orbital lymphomas is not well reported. This study aimed to provide a population-based report on the epidemiology of orbital lymphomas and measure the trends in the incidence of orbital lymphoma cancer in South Korea.

Nationwide cancer incidence data from 1999 to 2016 were obtained from the Korea Central Cancer Registry. Age-standardised incidence rates and annual percent changes were calculated according to sex and histological types. The analysis according to the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results summary stage classifications was performed from 2006 to 2016. FDA approved Drug Library high throughput Survival rates were estimated for cases diagnosed from 1999 to 2016.

A total of 630 patients (median age 54years) with orbital lymphoma in the orbital soft tissue were included in this study. The age-standardised incidence rates increased from 0.03 to 0.08 per 100000 individuals between 1999 and 2016, with an annual percent change of 6.61%. The most common histopathological type of orbital lymphoma was extra marginal zone B cell lymphoma, accounting for 82.2% of all orbital lymphomas during 1999-2016, followed by diffuse large B cell lymphoma (9.2%). Five-year, 10-year and 15-year overall survival (OS) of orbital lymphoma was 90.8%, 83.8% and 75.8%, respectively. OS showed a significant decrease as age increased and no significant differences between men and women.

To determine associations between HLAB27-positive uveitis, ethnicity and seronegative spondyloarthropathies (SpAs) in a New Zealand population.

Retrospective observational cohort study. Medical records of all subjects with uveitis at Auckland District Health Board from 2008 to 2018 were reviewed for HLAB27 status, age of presentation, ethnicity and SpA.

In 10years, 2567 subjects with uveitis were seen and 492 (19.2%) were HLAB27-positive. Of the HLAB27-positive subjects, 301 were male (60.3%) and median age was 37.8years (IQR 29.7-50.0). Ethnicities were Caucasian (n=298, 60.6%), Asian (n=111, 22.6%), Maori (n=41, 8.2%) and Pacific Islander (n=38, 7.7%). Uveitis classification was anterior (n=478, 97.2%), intermediate (n=40, 8.1%), panuveitis (n=9, 1.8%) and scleritis (n=2, 0.4%). Maori or Pacific Islander ethnicity was associated with intermediate or panuveitis (p=0.003). Ankylosing spondylitis occurred in 163 subjects (33.1%); 29 (17.8%) were Maori or Pacific Islander. Subjects were younger (OR 0.982, p=0.009) and male (OR 1.980, p=0.001). There was no association with ethnicity or uveitis classification. Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) occurred in 11 subjects (2.2%). Chronic anterior uveitis was more common with PsA (27.3% vs 7.1%, p=0.023). There was no association with gender or ethnicity. Inflammatory bowel disease occurred in 19 subjects (3.8%) and reactive arthritis occurred in 14 subjects (2.8%). None developed chronic anterior uveitis (p=0.246 and p=0.227, respectively). There was no association with age at presentation, gender, ethnicity or uveitis classification.

Lower limb lymphedema is a frequent and debilitating complication after cervical cancer treatment.

To evaluate the incidence and prevalence of lymphedema after treatment for cervical cancer and evaluate the factors associated with this outcome.

The study was performed according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines and was registered in the International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews (PROSPERO). Eligible studies were identified through the databases Medline (via PubMed), LILACS, Scopus, and Web of Science. For the search, descriptors, keywords, and synonyms were used for cervical cancer, lymphedema, and outcomes of interest (incidence, prevalence, frequency, occurrence, morbidity, risk factors, and prognosis). Observational studies were included that were published in English, Portuguese, or Spanish, between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2019, with frequency data and associated factors for lymphedema after cervical cancer treatment.phedema after treatment for cervical cancer is variable. The different designs and methodology to measure this complication make it difficult to draw definitive conclusions about its prevalence. The method used for lymphedema assessment is not standardized.
To compare total costs for hospital stay and post-operative recovery between robotic and abdominal hysterectomy in the treatment of early-stage endometrial cancer provided in an enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) setting. Costs were evaluated in relation to health impact, taking a societal perspective.

Cost analysis was based on data from an open randomized controlled trial in an ERAS setting at a Swedish tertiary referral university hospital 50 women with low-risk endometrial cancer scheduled for surgery between February 2012 and May 2016 were included; 25 women were allocated to robotic and 25 to abdominal hysterectomy. We compared the total time in the operating theater, procedure costs, post-operative care, length of hospital stay, readmissions, informal care, and sick leave as well as the health-related quality of life until 6 weeks after surgery. The comparison was made by using the EuroQoL group form with five dimensions and three levels (EQ-5D). The primary outcome measure was total cost; secondary outcomes were quality-adjusted life-years (QALYs) and cost per QALY.
