Subcutaneously administered pharmacological dose of adrenaline bitartrate caused oxidative stress inducing gastric lesion in male albino rats as evident from the altered levels of biomarkers of oxidative stress, activities of antioxidant and mitochondrial enzymes related to energy metabolism with changes in tissue morphology. Pre-treatment of rats with oleic acid dose-dependently protected against these gastric injuries induced by adrenaline indicating the potentiality of oleic acid in protecting against adrenaline induced gastric injury in male albino rats where antioxidant mechanisms appear to play a pivotal role in mediating such protection.The COVID-19 pandemic and the enforced restrictions have harshly affected educational sectors in 161 countries around the world. With more than 1.6 billion students away from normal school life, the crisis threatens the teaching and learning processes and the students' emotional health. Herein, we present the result of a careful assessment of the feelings of over 13,000 students at high school, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels across 36 campuses over 8 subsequent weeks from the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. We have recorded 5 responses (being anxious, stressed, overwhelmed, tired, and depressed) as the most frequently reported feelings in the time of lockdown. The current study also presents several strategies to combat the undesirable consequences of COVID-19 pandemic.In this present study conducted with the LFGD (Low-Frequency Glow Discharge) (Ar + O2) plasma treated maize seeds, to inspect the effect on seed surface modifications, seed germination, growth, development, productivity and nutritional compositions of maize plants. This study reported that LFGD (Ar + O2) plasma treated maize seeds have a potential effect to change its smooth seed surfaces and, it becomes rougher. It also enhances the seed germination rate up to (15.88%), which might help to increase the shoot length (33.42%), root length (10.67%), stem diameter (13.37%), total chlorophyll content (46.93%), total soluble protein (52.48%), total soluble phenol (21.68%) and sugar (1.62%) concentrations in respect controls of our experimental plants. For this reason, the acceptable treatment duration for maize seeds were 30sec, 60sec, 90sec and 120sec. After treatment, the plants exhibited a significant increase in CAT, SOD, APX and GR activities in the leaves and roots, and also significantly changes in H2O2 (208.33 ± 5.87μ molg-1 FW) in the leaves and (61.13 ± 1.72μ molg-1 FW) in the roots, NO was (369.24 ± 213.19μ molg-1FW) and (1094.23 ± 135.44μ molg-1FW) in the leaves and roots. LFGD plasma treatment also contributed to enhancement of productivity (1.27%), nutritional (moisture, ash, fat, and crude fiber) compositions, and iron and zinc micro-nutrition concentrations of maize. From this research, LFGD (Ar + O2) plasma treatment showed a potential impact on the maize cultivation system, which is very effective tools and both in nationally and internationally alter the conventional cultivation system of maize. Because it promotes seed surface modification, improved germination rate, shoot length, root length, chlorophyll content, some of the growths related enzymatic activity, nutrient composition, iron, and zinc micro-nutrients and the productivity of maize.Utilization of tobacco products is a global epidemic that causes a health threat among the adolescents and adults of the world. If the current pattern perpetuates, it is estimated to cause 10 million deaths each year by 2020. According to the 2009-2010 survey by Global Adult Tobacco Survey, 53.5% of Indians use tobacco products (66.2% of men and 40% of women). Cancers of the lip and oral cavity are highly frequent in Southern Asia (eg India and Sri Lanka) and it is also the leading cause of cancer death among men in India and Sri Lanka.
The aim of the study is to evaluate the particle size, and assess the penetration rate in egg shell membrane and proliferation rate using cell lines among 4 commercially available tobacco products.
A total of 4 tobacco product samples namely Gutka, Khaini, Beedi and Cigarette was used to analyse the particle size using High resolution Scanning electron microscopy, the penetration rate on egg shell membrane using Spectroflurometry and proliferative rate using ELISA on cell lines respectively.
Khaini revealed the smallest particle size and highest penetration and proliferation rate compared to Gutka, Beedi and Cigarette.
Current evidence shows that individuals who consume Khaini are at high risk to develop potentially malignant disorders and oral squamous cell carcinoma when compared to Gutka, Beedi and Cigarette (in the order of occurrence).

Therefore, it is exciting to observe the drawing development in children, who are raised in the same environment and have a similar genetic basis, that is in twins, triplets, and so forth. In the study, we were interested in the similarities and differences in the drawing development of the triplets, two of which were identical twins (B1 and B2) and one was non-identical (A), and whether the characteristics of the drawing appear more congruently between B1 and B2 than with A. We proposed two hypotheses H1 There are more similarities in drawings between identical twins (B1 vs B2) than between identical and non-identical one (A vs B1 and A vs B2); H2 The differences between non-identical and identical triplets are less pronounced at the beginning of the drawing development (in doodle phase) and become more distinctive in later development, in drawing of figure and space. We analysed 123 drawings that the triplets (41 drawings of each triplet) drew from 1 to 12 years of age at the same time and on the same topic.
