We found that a 90° rotation of the robot arm relative to the participant leads to the worst performance, while we did not find a significant difference between a 45° rotation and no rotation. Additionally, we compared a group of subjects with indirect haptic feedback with a group without indirect haptic feedback to investigate the feedback-error. In the group without feedback, we found a significant difference in performance only when no rotation was applied to the robot arm, supporting that a form of haptic feedback is another important factor to be considered in BCI control.Electrocardiography is a common and widely-performed medical examination based on the measurement and evaluation of electrocardiogram (ECG) to assess the up-to-date cardiac rhythms and thus suggest the health conditions of cardiovascular system and on a larger level the individual's wellness. To unbiasedly uncover the underlying links of genetic variants with normal vs. abnormal ECG assessment, a genome-wide association study (GWAS) is carried out in a 1006-participant cohort of Chinese population effectively genotyped for 243487 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs). Both age and sex are influential factors, and six novel SNPs are identified for potential association with abnormal ECG. With the selected SNPs, a polygenic risk score (PRS) differentiates the case-control subgroups, and correlates well with increased risk of abnormal ECG. The findings are reproduced in an independent validation cohort. To assess the effect of PTS and relative therapy on outcome in the initial phase after TBI, during the rehabilitation process when neuroplasticity is at its highest, we retrospectively examined the clinical data of 341 adult patients undergoing rehabilitation for at least 6 months post-TBI in our neurorehabilitation unit between 2008 and 2019. We correlated through logistic regression the occurrence of seizures and use of anti-seizure medication (ASM) with neurological and functional outcomes, respectively assessed with the Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) and the Functional Independence Measure (FIM). PTS were documented in 19.4% of patients early PTS (EPTS) in 7.0%; late PTS (LPTS) in 9.4%; both types in 3.0%.
